So, I think the title says it all about my intentions but I do want to clarify a couple things:
1. I do have experience roleplaying as I am an avid forum roleplayer. Unfortunately, though, the forum where I usually roleplay only has dead D&D roleplays, so I can't really try it out there...
2. I did my research as best I could into D&D. That said, my knowledge is still pretty limited and mostly broad strokes, as many details and nuances still escape me.
With that out of the way, let's get into some specifics. Name's Ideaprophet, but you can call me Idea, Prophet or pretty much anything you want cause I like nicknames. I am really new to this game but I am excited to try it out. I am a bit particular about the kinds of characters I like making, and believe me when I say I make some weird ones (compared to the expectations many seem to have), but I don't really mind being at a disadvantage so long as I'm not immediately excluded for it. Beyond that I am someone who is passionate about worldbuilding and will give my best to explore and contribute to the world and story, and I am someone who if given the opportunity will collaborate with my fellow roleplayers in making more interesting stories, establishing character relationships and all that jazz. It goes without saying that I try to be friendly and I can be patient, but you'll have to forgive my bad jokes (by which I mean I try and fail at being humorous, I don't make harmful jokes) and the bit of an argumentative strain I have. I will do my best to hold it back.
I promise to be a committed player whenever I can and post once every three days if we use that kind of system, but if we use a session system instead, then the afternoons are a good time for me almost every day. My weekends tend to be flip-floppy in terms of availability though. Naturally I will let the group know as possible if anything comes up, namely exam periods.
And I think that's everything? If there is any info I forgot you might want to know or some kind of big mistake I made, feel free to let me know or ask below.
Thanks for reading, I hope you have a great day!
Edit: I realize now I missed some key info, so I'll try to give it here. I want to try playing 5e of traditional dungeons and dragons (so no alternate worlds or scifi settings or that stuff: I'll leave that for when I have some hang of the game). I am a 19 year old college student in the field of economics, and I'm from Portugal.Western European Timezone. Also, I have a discord, and I will share it as appropriate.
Hi I'm new and Also looking to join a game also ive watched a couple people play the other day and am intrested in meeting new people and learning the game.
