Name: Teo Location: Greece Experience: Playing D&D since 2014, starting with 2nd edition, now using 5th edition. In February i will be using the 5.5e 2024 rules. (but players can still play 2014 5e characters if they want to) I've been a Dungeon master here and there throughout the years, but i started doing it consistently since late 2023.
What to Expect:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kp9nsWd2XD4&feature=youtu.be Here’s a private one-shot video with my veteran players (8-hour session). My mic sounds better on Discord than in the video (OBS issues), but it shows roleplay, combat, and how I DM. The style is homebrew, a lot of improv, with deadly and dynamic combat sometimes running or avoiding fights is the better choice.
Current and Future Campaigns: For now, I'll be using Roll20 since it makes it easier to add homebrew magical items and edit monsters, as I like to tweak them a bit. (So don't ask me to switch to Foundry or something else it won't happen...)
1st Campaign:(D&D 5E) (Finished/Closed) Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk was my take on an expanded Lost Mine of Phandelver, with some inspiration from Baldur’s Gate 3. It ran from levels 1 to 15, adding new locations, side quests, and magical items. While the campaign is fully prepped and ready, I have zero plans to run it again. Ever. Not to sound cocky, but I can’t stand railroading, and Shattered Obelisk is the textbook definition of it. You’re not creating the story; you’re just playing through someone else’s script. It’s basically a book, and the DM is just flipping through the pages while you watch.
I did my best to breathe life into it, adding homebrew elements, new locations, and extra storylines, but at the end of the day, it was still way too railroady for my taste.
2nd Campaign. Dipolis: Battle against Madness: (Finished/Ready)
The world’s been through an apocalypse, leaving only your island alive while the rest of the planet is a barren wasteland. Nobody’s really sure what caused it, but some say it had something to do with ancient magical weapons being destroyed all at once. Whatever happened, it left scars across the land, and now the survivors are just trying to rebuild and move on.
This campaign is open-world, so you can pretty much do whatever you want, but the main story is about a guy named John Swiss. He’s been going around killing nobles, and there’s a huge reward for anyone who can stop him or bring back his head. Each of you has a reason to hate him, whether it’s losing a family member, a friend, or something worse. Will you track him down, or go your own way? That’s up to you.
The island itself is full of quests, magical items, and dangers waiting to be discovered. You can fight goblins, hunt dragons, or chase your own goals, like finding lost treasures or avenging the past. Your backstories will be part of the campaign, shaping the world and how it reacts to you.
The adventure starts at level 1. What happens next is up to you.
Brown = Not looking for any players for this group at the moment, but you can still wait in queue for this group if anyone leaves for any reason or etc.
I've been a DM since the late of2023, and i've had 3+ groups active since the start of 2024 (but for a few months i had a 4th group)
Payment:
Payment: €10 per session via PayPal or Stripe .
Rules and Extra Information:
Game Rules: No spoilers. No metagaming. Let everyone play their own character, how they fight or roleplay is their choice. You can roleplay to stop them or etc, but don’t take control of their actions. Also, avoid being a rules lawyer. I use a lot of homebrew on almost everything, so monsters won’t always follow the book. I prefer the rule of cool, if something sounds good, let’s see if it works. I also incorporate realism, but within reason (no bathroom breaks every two hours for your character to use number 1 or number 2). For example, if you know Ray of Frost, you might be able to shape it into an Ice Knife that deals 1d4 piercing and melts over time, unless if you keep it cold with more magic.
Just a heads-up: most of my players, including myself, don’t consider ourselves “woke.” That doesn’t mean we’re against anyone joining who is, it’s all about the vibe at the table. We’re here to play D&D, make memories, share some laughs, and have fun. If this sounds like your kind of group, you’re more than welcome to join. Not sure? Try a session and see if it’s a good fit or even better watch one of my videos. And as always, feel free to chat with me on Discord first if you have any questions or concerns.
Just kidding. When I first signed on I had my doubts because of the many campaigns listed and the low price, but that was fast put to rest. Already during the first free session it was clear that Teo runs a very good game with a good balance between encounters and roleplaying. He also have a sense of humor, which I personally prefer. So far we have had a lot of fun encounters, a lot of laughs and we all get on just fine. That said, we are certain he is secretly laughing wickedly as he tries to kill us off...
Kami ~The Lords of Dominicus Currently wondering if I should sign up for a 2nd game with Teo or not...
Playing with Teo as a DM is like playing a game with all the best mods installed.
I haven't played DND very long so was sceptical at first when joining a new game, but Teo was very welcoming and helpful when it came to joining the current campaign, He has a very accepting attitude towards player input on rule of cool rules and will always take the players questions or ideas with great consideration. Most sessions we find outselves laughing uncontrollably or being on edge due to picking a fight we really shouldn't have. He will be a fair judge and executioner if he needs to be, so in other words, if you decide you want to run in guns blazing, I wish you luck.
In summary I would say I have never regretting joining Teo's games and continue to look forward to how this campaign will go!
Teo is a solid DM and good with keeping the players engaged. Though his prices are low, he does an excellent job and is pretty fair about his games, letting the dice do the talking.
teo is a pretty rock-solid DM under him I've personally had the most thrilling and scary combats I've ever had and some of the most fun and memorable roleplay either fighting a fiery earthworm Jim in an underground pyramid or pretending to be an NPC goose for 2 hours before properly being introducing to the party he's willing to work with you and while I don't always agree with every decision, he is commutative and articulate with the reasoning and if you make a good point he's willing to rethink things and work with you
I was looking for a group for some time in the start of this year, and had to leave some because it wasn't for me, until I found Teo's group in Superior Area. I've been playing there since almost the begining of the campaign. This should tell as much how much I enjoy him as the DM!
Lots of dangerous moments and lots of funny things too~ He will let you do whatever you want during the adventure, but it won't be free of consequences 😂
Teo´s a really good DM! It´s my first time playing a DnD campaign but I can say that never seemed something forced/"railroaded" or unfair towards the players.
We had some hard fights, some that seemed even unwinable (to me) at the beginning but we also got some very good placed in-game hints about resistances of our enemies and in general being a bit creative also gets rewarded.
As for the balance between combat and roleplay I´d say that it is a good even balance and neither get boring or "too much". Also he certainly listens to his players and it´s fun to throw some Ideas around after sessions^^
Reviewing another human! Okay - This is totally normal!
Teo is my kind of DM, good guy, and focuses on the players having fun, rather than strict adherence to some pre-planned story or rules etc. Our games can get a little outrageous and adventuresome without being penalised for free thinking and improvisation. While running it though, we are not free of consequences, and when we bite off more than we can chew, we have to clear up our own messes and pay the piper!
Character death is not shied away from, but that keeps the tension up, and is usually handled in an appropriate manner depending on the game session. With a light hearted attitude to our play, the group bonds well and enjoys the game. It's been a fun ride so far and I look forward to many sessions to come.
Oh, and I can't forget, he charges very reasonable amounts too. 11/10 would scrape by from TPK again.
If you've played D&D online for any length of time with same people the chaos can be a bit like herding cats. You have new players asking questions, barbarians overreacting to every encounter, missing players, new to game players and the such Teo, like a truly skilled DM, has managed to lead the party towards progress without strapping them to seats on a rail. The paths are clear but not the only choices allowing for unbound creativity, there is a real sense of risk when you and the gang make foolish decisions and rewards are achievable. Battle and social encounters are intriguing and entertaining providing the proper amount of challenge to feel accomplished in the resolve. I really enjoy the pre and post game banter helping take the party from haphazard strangers to budding friendships. The games are consistent (the main reason for a paid DM), the cost is reasonable/exceptional (a perk of this DM), the players exceptional (a bonus) and experience is memorable. All in all there be antics, shenanigans and tomfoolery abound 10/10 would recommend. -D_McNally
This was the first time I picked up a campaign online, and the experience has been enjoyable and most importanlty flexible with my work schedule. The process started with a discussion, that allowed Teo to determine if I was a good "fit" as a player for the wider team (which is a very good thing) and then we worked to create a consistent schedule good for everyone involved.
Teo is a very solid DM - he knows the rules, delivers challenging encounters with Role Playing, manages combat and effectively controls the pace of play. He's also very solid when it comes to using maps and APIs to create an efficient and effective overall experience. If you are looking for an enjoyable campaign, I'd recommend considering Teo when making your decision. Teo has done a great job with our campaign.
Latest Update on Player Availability and Campaigns
Dominion Pact currently has 5 players, Supreme Prodigy has 6 players, and Ascendant Age has 5 players. I’m looking for 1 player for Ascendant Age and 1 player for Dominion Pact.
I’m not looking to add more players to Supreme Prodigy at the moment, but you’re always welcome to join as a guest for a scheduled session, maybe even take control of a villain, similar to how Critical Role does it with guest appearances. If someone steps away due to real-life commitments, I can consider adding you to the group. I’m also open to bringing you in for one-shots or special sessions if that’s more your style.
Additionally, I have two more groups available, Nexus Titan is somewhat closed but it will open when Obsidian Ash fills up. And the time and date for Nexus Titan are negotiable.
(new groups) Nexus Titan and Obsidian Ash: Nexus Titan doesn't have any players yet or set in stone time or date, but Obsidian Ash has 2 player and the date is set for 4pm Saturday (gmt timezone)
If you're interested, DM me, and we can chat.
