What to Expect: (private one shot video with 4 of my veteran players) Just a heads up, my mic is a bit messed up on the video because I used OBS and didn’t know how to set it up properly. My mic works much better on Discord, though.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kp9nsWd2XD4&feature=youtu.be Here is a video of how i DM, a one shot that turned into a two shot that lasted 8 hours more or less. This is completely homebrew, even though its very... rail roady. It was meant to have some roleplay with npc's, some combat, and to actually show you that you can also... die in the game. I won't be an easy going dungeon master, some combats might be deadly, some of them might be very easy. Running away, ignoring and etc might be a better option rather than fighting all the time.
Current and Future Campaigns: For now, I'll be using Roll20 since it makes it easier to add homebrew magical items and edit monsters, as I like to tweak them a bit. So don't ask me to switch to Foundry or something else.
1st Campaign: Shattered Obelisk (D&D 5E) (Ready)The Shattered Obelisk is inspired from Baldurs Gate 3 and Lost Mine of Phandelver, a classic adventure designed to take players from level 1 to 5 and the continuation is from 6-14 level . It's a great introductory campaign centered around the town of Phandalin, where you'll face off against the notorious Redbrand bandits under Tresendar Manor, track down the mysterious Glasstaff, and attempt to rescue the kidnapped dwarf, Gundren Rockseeker. As the story unfolds, you may uncover the machinations of the elusive Black Spider and attempt to thwart his plans. Following Lost Mine of Phandelver, we'll dive into the continuation: Shattered Obelisk, which takes characters from levels 5 to 14. I've added a ton of unique elements to enhance the experience, such as: Wave Echo Cave: Expanded into a magical item creation hub. Here, you'll be able to trade, commission, or purchase homebrew magical items that I either craft on the spot or have prepared. Place an order, and after a short wait, your item will be ready! Neverwinter: Explore the bustling city with various points of interest, including Lord Neverember's court, a magic shop, temples, inns, and other key locations to discover.Potion Shop in the Wild: Located just before Phandalin on the road, this shop offers unique potions and items, perfect for stocking up before your adventures in the region. Random Encounters and Hidden Treasures: From dangerous creatures to unexpected NPCs, each encounter is designed to immerse you in roleplay and possibly reward you with rare, magical items. The campaign is likely to extend up to level 15 with the added content, giving you plenty of time to experience deep storytelling, challenging encounters, and custom rewards. I also put a lot of effort into creating detailed battle maps and custom tokens for every NPC to ensure variety and individuality—no copy-pasting here!
This version is smoother, more engaging, and focuses on the exciting elements that will hook potential players and you can also check out the reviews below to see what past or current players have said about their experiences in my campaigns.
2nd Campaign. Dipolis: Battle against Madness: (In development, currently halfway complete)
In this open-world sandbox campaign , set on a vast map spanning roughly 300 miles by 600 miles in diameter, you'll explore a high-magic world filled with homebrew magical items, quests, and dynamic events. Your party already knows each other whether through family, friends, or shared pasts and you're all eager to dive into adventure. That’s the only requirement. Dipolis is a bustling city full of mysteries, from its Adventurers Guild to the deadly Colosseum. A huge reward is offered to anyone who can bring information on John Swiss, a notorious noble killer, or his head. Your backstory will be woven into the story as much or as little as you want, shaping your character’s journey. Whether you seek glory, power, or simply the thrill of adventure, the world is open to your imagination. Events will unfold around you, progressing whether you're there to intervene or not. The campaign starts at level 3, and the adventure is yours to shape. You’ll have plenty of free time to explore the world at your own pace, without being tied to a single quest or module for too long. However, keep in mind that events will continue to unfold in the background, whether you discover them or not. Will you track down John Swiss and claim the massive reward? Each of you has a personal connection to him whether it’s the loss of a noble family member or a guard who fell protecting the nobles. It's up to you to craft your backstory, but it must tie into this infamous figure, John Swiss. I should also mention that the world recently went through an apocalypse, and only your large island remains active, while the rest of the planet is lifeless. This campaign is completely open world, so you can do whatever you want. I'll have a bunch of random maps ready for almost any situation. Want to fight goblins? Go for it. Looking for dragons? You can try. Want to be thieves? No problem. It's all up to you. If you'd rather not be tied to the John Swiss storyline, that’s fine too. Create your own backstory, and I'll weave it into the campaign. You can focus on your own goals, like finding your father’s stolen sword, hunting the dragon that destroyed your village, or rescuing a kidnapped princess. I'm up for anything.
Future Campaigns: I got some ideas for non-medieval settings, like zombie apocalypses or futuristic stuff. These are in the works and might be ready in a few months (or maybe years—just kidding, I’ll work on them after Dipolis). The 3 to 20 level campaign is halfway done and will be long-term. The zombie or future ones are gonna be shorter, like 1-3 months, unless people like them, or they might be just one-shots. I’m also planning a Viking thing in winter where you gotta hunt and survive, a school one where kids learn to control their powers, a pirate campaign, and a thieves’ guild campaign. I’m down for any ideas you guys have for short or long games. I am really good at improv, so when we play in a campaign just do as you wish and i will improvise on the spot.

In February, I'll have Dipolis ready, and most of my groups will switch from Shattered Obelisk to Dipolis after they finish that campaign, or maybe they'll jump into something else. If you're thinking about joining, now’s a good time to hop in so you can see how I DM and decide if you want to stick around for the long haul. Why now? because Shattered Obelisk costs €6 per session(only until February more or less), instead of €10 per session.
Payment:
Payment: €6 per session via PayPal (First session is free if we’re playing Shattered Obelisk)
Payment: €10 per session via PayPal (This will start at February. Once my current players finish Shattered Obelisk, then the price changes from €6 to €10)
Game Rules: No spoilers. No metagaming. Don’t play other people’s characters for them. How they fight in combat or roleplay is up to them, so stay in your lane and let them handle their own.
Just kidding. When I first signed on I had my doubts because of the many campaigns listed and the low price, but that was fast put to rest. Already during the first free session it was clear that Teo runs a very good game with a good balance between encounters and roleplaying. He also have a sense of humor, which I personally prefer. So far we have had a lot of fun encounters, a lot of laughs and we all get on just fine. That said, we are certain he is secretly laughing wickedly as he tries to kill us off...
Kami ~The Lords of Dominicus Currently wondering if I should sign up for a 2nd game with Teo or not...
Playing with Teo as a DM is like playing a game with all the best mods installed.
I haven't played DND very long so was sceptical at first when joining a new game, but Teo was very welcoming and helpful when it came to joining the current campaign, He has a very accepting attitude towards player input on rule of cool rules and will always take the players questions or ideas with great consideration. Most sessions we find outselves laughing uncontrollably or being on edge due to picking a fight we really shouldn't have. He will be a fair judge and executioner if he needs to be, so in other words, if you decide you want to run in guns blazing, I wish you luck.
In summary I would say I have never regretting joining Teo's games and continue to look forward to how this campaign will go!
Teo is a solid DM and good with keeping the players engaged. Though his prices are low, he does an excellent job and is pretty fair about his games, letting the dice do the talking.
teo is a pretty rock-solid DM under him I've personally had the most thrilling and scary combats I've ever had and some of the most fun and memorable roleplay either fighting a fiery earthworm Jim in an underground pyramid or pretending to be an NPC goose for 2 hours before properly being introducing to the party he's willing to work with you and while I don't always agree with every decision, he is commutative and articulate with the reasoning and if you make a good point he's willing to rethink things and work with you
I was looking for a group for some time in the start of this year, and had to leave some because it wasn't for me, until I found Teo's group in Superior Area. I've been playing there since almost the begining of the campaign. This should tell as much how much I enjoy him as the DM!
Lots of dangerous moments and lots of funny things too~ He will let you do whatever you want during the adventure, but it won't be free of consequences 😂
Teo´s a really good DM! It´s my first time playing a DnD campaign but I can say that never seemed something forced/"railroaded" or unfair towards the players.
We had some hard fights, some that seemed even unwinable (to me) at the beginning but we also got some very good placed in-game hints about resistances of our enemies and in general being a bit creative also gets rewarded.
As for the balance between combat and roleplay I´d say that it is a good even balance and neither get boring or "too much". Also he certainly listens to his players and it´s fun to throw some Ideas around after sessions^^
Reviewing another human! Okay - This is totally normal!
Teo is my kind of DM, good guy, and focuses on the players having fun, rather than strict adherence to some pre-planned story or rules etc. Our games can get a little outrageous and adventuresome without being penalised for free thinking and improvisation. While running it though, we are not free of consequences, and when we bite off more than we can chew, we have to clear up our own messes and pay the piper!
Character death is not shied away from, but that keeps the tension up, and is usually handled in an appropriate manner depending on the game session. With a light hearted attitude to our play, the group bonds well and enjoys the game. It's been a fun ride so far and I look forward to many sessions to come.
Oh, and I can't forget, he charges very reasonable amounts too. 11/10 would scrape by from TPK again.
If you've played D&D online for any length of time with same people the chaos can be a bit like herding cats. You have new players asking questions, barbarians overreacting to every encounter, missing players, new to game players and the such Teo, like a truly skilled DM, has managed to lead the party towards progress without strapping them to seats on a rail. The paths are clear but not the only choices allowing for unbound creativity, there is a real sense of risk when you and the gang make foolish decisions and rewards are achievable. Battle and social encounters are intriguing and entertaining providing the proper amount of challenge to feel accomplished in the resolve. I really enjoy the pre and post game banter helping take the party from haphazard strangers to budding friendships. The games are consistent (the main reason for a paid DM), the cost is reasonable/exceptional (a perk of this DM), the players exceptional (a bonus) and experience is memorable. All in all there be antics, shenanigans and tomfoolery abound 10/10 would recommend. -D_McNally
Superior Era Group: Full with 5 players. If a spot opens, I’ll contact those in the queue. (if you still wanna join Superior Era, you can certainly send me a message)
Dosto Group: Open with 0 players, looking for 5-6. Starts at level 1 in my new campaign in February. If you want to test out a session to see how i DM, we can do a one shot with a few players.
Lucky Gallery: 4 players so far, seeking 1-2 more.
Alpha Maestro: 4 players currently, needs 1 more to complete the group.
Lords of Dominicus: 6 players now, but 2-3 will leave after this campaign. I’m looking for replacements in February (so 2 spots open at the very least).
