Just as the header says, I need two players for a Homebrew Campaign running on Wednesdays, 8 PM CST
For some info on the campaign itself, let me explain (tldr at the bottom).
It's all in my homebrew setting, and they've played a homebrew, altered version of Lost Mines of Phandelver (altered for lore, interest, and expansion, not for challenge). It started with 4 players, but one of them wasn't very consistent and dropped out alongside another player after they beat the Redbrands. I sent out a dndbeyond add, and got four new players, marked as a bunch of mercenaries an NPC friend hired to aid the last two on a quest to this world's version of Cragmaw Castle, Dolorous Gard (there are some Arthurian themes in this campaign). However, the party wasn't very intelligent, and Dolorous Gard was a slightly buffed Sunless Citadel for 3rd-level characters. They split the party and had to stage a rescue mission, eventually succeeding the rescue and continuing deeper, but feel when they fought the boss room in the gard because they used a lot of their resources quickly and didn't rest at all. One of them tried running away very quickly, essentially abandoning the others, another was traumatized from in-character stuff and couldn't really move, and they TPK'd. I decided that the campaign would continue, but there'd be a timeskip, new characters would be Level 5, and it'd be a world where Nekrasis (this world's version of Nezznar) successfully gained control of the Forge of Spells.
From there, one of the players left and so I got a regular player of mine to join the fight in his place. Not long after, another player had to leave due to a scheduling conflict. Level 5 for the party was all about a festival arc, ending with an attack from a mysterious threat that left many important figures across the continent missing or dead, and the party on the move for personal reasons, one of them having a personal quest, and overall a wish to go into hiding and keep moving. This is when a former player came back to join, but around this point, two other players (who were husband and wife) also had to leave due to scheduling reasons. The next fight they had was rather difficult, and they went in on the enemy's terms. One player hardly did anything useful, and tried running at the first opportunity, making it clear that one major character trait for him was that he was a bit of a coward.
From there, the party was able to rescue their captured comrades and work together to trick the big bad and defeat him once and for all...moving on, though, they came across an abandoned village that became a military encampment for their mysterious foe. They attempted to go through stealthily and wisely, but triggered a rather difficult fight while already in one without preparation. The aforementioned coward fled the scene, two of the PCs died, and the last one managed to get away. She's been given a divine vision and has a new spark for the future.
The party's Level 6, and they're arrived in a village. It was the target of a now-dead PC's quest, and the village needs heroes. The other two players will be making new characters...but personally, I think they need backup. So, do you wanna be a hero?
tldr; The party's Level 6, recently lost two characters and are bringing in new ones, and we have room for two more to make it a party of 6
