If you want to just cut all the chit chat, just go to the TLDR just down at the bottom of this post to get details.
So let's just explain right off the bat, we are four adult and experienced players looking for a PAID Sunday game that starts roughly between the times of 11:00 a.m. est And 1:00 p.m. est. But let me tell you what we as players, are looking for!
These things include:
- DM experience. We respect the difficulty that it takes to become a good DM. Thus, is why we are looking for a paid game. We also want to make sure that you are having a good time just as we are.
- Interpersonal skills. We really don't want to fight with you. We also want to make sure that you have the ability to handle situations that may be a little difficult at times. But we're all adults and we are willing to work through any situation.
- A DM that can play with us sometimes and a little less against us. We really enjoy the rule of cool. Trust me, we really hate being told no all the time when we're just trying to have fun. That's the point of the game. Have fun. Not to be put under the boot.
- Make it homebrew. Or at least a game that is not going to stop at level 10. We highly enjoy open and creative games.
- in lieu of the bullet above, role play ability. We kind of go hard for role play. Some of us lead hard lives and role-playing is our escape. So giving us that time to role play, especially with you, is more butter to that bread.

TLDR;
LOOKING FOR TABLE/DM
Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online
Experience: a few years / veteran
Location/Timezone: EST (But other two are in different locations. But we use mine since we need a focal point)
Availability: 11 am Sundays at the earliest, 1pm at the latest START TIME
Game style: Homebrew world (or something modified so that we can keep playing until our hearts give out)
SO! If you're up for the test, don't hesitate to send a message our way. Thank you! Have a great weekend!
We hope this message finds you well! We saw your post and believe we might be a great fit for your group. With over 25 years of experience in D&D, more than half of which has been as a DM, including a strong background in improv and homebrew content, we’re well-prepared to meet your needs.
We understand the importance of having a DM who not only brings experience but also a collaborative spirit. We respect the challenge of being a good DM and are committed to creating a positive and engaging experience for everyone at the table. Our approach emphasizes flexibility and creativity, aligning with your preference for a game where the rule of cool is embraced and players are encouraged to have fun.
Here’s how we match your criteria:
DM Experience: We have extensive experience in running games, both online and in-person, and are dedicated to ensuring an enjoyable experience for all players.
Interpersonal Skills: We value clear communication and problem-solving and are committed to a respectful and enjoyable game environment.
Play with vs. Against: We focus on collaborative storytelling and creativity, allowing players to shine and engage in meaningful role-playing.
Homebrew Content: We love crafting and running homebrew content, ensuring that your game remains dynamic and open-ended, well beyond level 10. We typically use an established setting that players are familiar with and create a sandbox-style experience within that framework.
Role-Playing: We prioritize immersive role-playing experiences, understanding how vital this is for escape and enjoyment. We actually prefer sessions that are rich in narrative drive rather than back-to-back combat scenarios, though we’re always open to incorporating combat when it enhances the story.
We’re available for sessions on Sundays starting between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. EST, and we’re excited about the possibility of working with a group that values both creative freedom and rich role-playing. While we’re based in CST, we’ve run games across various time zones and are comfortable accommodating your schedule.
If you’re interested in discussing further, please feel free to reach out to us here or on Discord (DMVoidKitten). Looking forward to the possibility of collaborating!
