Game style: I am open to paid groups, but I'm really interested in finding a group I fit in, looking for friends more than just the game. I've played versions of D&D video games for years, not necessarily intensely, but very familiar with basic rules and structures. I've watched all of Critical Role (for good or bad on your opinion) and this is why i say I'm looking more for the right group of people than just any game. I have played one game before but I left because most of the people were not familiar with D&D, weren't interested in speaking up much or at all, and as two other players left before I did, the DM brought in his family members to be players and it just started feeling too familial rather than friends based. I am single, no kids, only a dog, which I note only so people understand I have a lot of freedom.
I am not a voice actor, but I can do many accents, handful of characters. I am interested in exploring the roleplaying but I am very new at it, and a little nervous.

You are new citizens of the mining town of Rybalka, looking for a fresh start on life. On the longest night of the year, a group of Drow invade the city with devious plans in mind. Can you stop them? Are you willing to venture into the Underdark to discover their plans and save the surface world? This mega-adventure takes you across the surface and deep into the Underdark. You will meet unique NPCs, battle horrors, explore epic locations, and fight to stop the rise of the drow. This challenging 5e campaign will take characters from level 2-15 with room for exploration and side quests to achieve higher level play!

Hello and Good evening Chon Wick. My name is Fritz. I run a Wild Beyond the Witchlight game for a group of three other players. We recently find ourselves down a man and are seeking to fill his seat. My games run every Saturday from 2pm CST to 6pm CST. I offer a free first session so you can decide for yourself whether or not we are a good fit for you without any sense of obligation to stay. Every session thereafter is $15 per session. The players are really chill and have thus far enjoyed the game. But don't take my word for it. You are free to ask them yourself should you choose to join. We currently have a Tiefling Bard, Finn. A Human Fighter, Rah. And an Aaracockra Fighter, Ali. Furthermore, my players each have gone on to talk about how much they liked Critical Role as well. I bring that up because I noticed you saw you watched all of it. My game is planned to be a level 1 to level 20 game linking different adventure modules, backstory side quests and more. The party is currently at 4th level and we use standard array. And at this point in the game I will grant new characters the added benefit of getting a common or uncommon magic item and extra gold to spend on gear.
