System: DnD 5e Play style: (70/30) RP/Combat Experience: 10+ Years
About me as the Game Master!
Hello, I often go by PUN, I am 27, I live in Texas with my two cats. I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for about half my life. I have been a Dungeon Master for over 8 years. I have been a professional Dungeon Master for 4 years now. I started out in 4e and quickly moved to 5e where I picked up DMing for my small group of friends. It has been one of my biggest passions and greatest joys being able to make an amazing story with those sitting across the table or, in more recent times, screen.
My GMing style is a bit more laid back than most I have experienced in my day. I hate the feeling of the DM being against or "beating" the players. My goal is to build a story with and around the player in my game. If you are not having fun then I am not having fun.
I love a good roleplay heavy session. I have a couple of voices that I can do but don't make fun of me for slipping in and out of them! I am a super laid back and a "will of the players" type GM. The "rule of cool" is something I live by, I may allow something to happen just because I deem it cool. I sometimes twist or bend the rules to make a game more fun for both the players and myself. I mostly run a homebrew game but love running more sandbox modules such as Out of the Abyss.
Having been a full time professional Dungeon Master for nearly four years now, I pride myself on being able to tell a story that draws in everyone at the table. My goal is to connect you to the scene even if your character may not actively be in it. With this being my full time job I am able to fully devote myself to ensuring your enjoyment at my table.

What to expect.
Payment for games is as follows: I am running a deal right now that the first 3 months of play only cost $100 per month. After the 3 months period when you for sure know this is a good fit for you the price will be returned to its normal amount of $125 a month. We only play 4 times a month allowing me to take a break on any month that has a 5th day of the week that we play on.
I know $100 a month can sound steep to play D&D but that is $25 a session for the four sessions we play together. I put a lot of time and energy into making these games enjoyable for you and tailored to each group. This is my full time job so I can focus on my games and only my games. I also have reviews of the players I currently have in my games to help attest to the fact that this game will indeed be worth the price tag.
I have one group that has been playing over 3 years now, they are level 18 with homebrew boons, and they are about to finish their game. We still have four of the original players and are about to reach the end of our story. (Update they just finished and are starting a whole new story!) The one thing all games want is to make it to a satisfying end, with my games we are able to do that with consistency. People that pay into the games are more likely to put quality time into them and make sure they are there. So we miss far fewer sessions and are able to make it into the long term. I have two games in the tier four of play and several in tier three.
All races and classes in official Wizards of the Coast published book are free game to use. I am even open to allowing UA/Homebrew as long as it has been submitted and approved by me before session 1 begins. We will be using roll20 for maps and combats, discord for voice chat, and D&Dbeyond for character sheet upkeep and rolling. There is an extension (beyond20) that allows you to roll on D&DBeyond and it port it over to roll20 and I have found it to be super effective. So that will be used as well.
We will work together to build backstories that tie into the world. This allows for more immersion into the story. We will discuss what type of game we are all wanting to play, where and how we wish to start, and if any of our characters have connected backstories. With this completed we can go into the first session with a running jump.
The first actual session and getting you set up into the game is free.
Parting words
I understand that paying money to play this game can sometimes be off putting. But when you consider the man hours I put into creating an immersive campaign story for you to play, D&Dbeyond content, as well as other purchases I make to run a great campaign, it is almost nothing to pay for the numerous hours of enjoyment that you will receive in return. It not only assures my level of commitment but the other players as well. If you are concerned at all about my quality as a Dungeon Master I have 28 players currently paying for my games, and dozens more, that I have played with in the past, who would vouch for my ability.
I do require my players to be 18+, this allows for more mature topics to be discussed, but other than that all are welcome to apply. I can work with any skill level from the just watched CritRole (or other D&D media) and want to play to the old timers playing since before I was born. Something I have to add is, be open to constructive criticism, old players and new alike, we are playing a collaborative storytelling game together. If someone has an issue with something that happened we should be able to settle it as adults. If that is not something you think you can do I ask that you please find another game. If you can, then I will welcome you with open arms to our (virtual) table.

I've been playing with Pun for a year and a half now and currently on my fourth campaign with him. Honestly it's been the most fun I've had in D&D in a long time. Consistent groups full of people who don't miss sessions and a DM that puts passion into his stories. It's been a blast!
Name(nickname is fine): Alix Age: 35 Pronouns: He/She/They Time zone: EST How long have you been playing DnD: 24 years What got you into DnD: The Dragonlance novels Preferred style of game: 70/30 split of roleplay to combat, with combat being on the more difficult side Discord tag: Shawn5961 Anything I should know: Mainly looking to get into the new Friday game starting up Questions for me: Honestly, none of the top of my head. The post itself answered any I had!
Name(nickname is fine):Gabe Age: 50 Pronouns: I don't like pronouns, But I am Male Time zone: Pacific, Seattle area How long have you been playing DnD: Playleld for a few years, first and second ed., then had life going on and then played a little 4th ed about 13-15 years ago, So I am new to all this online D&D stuff. You can treat me as a new player. What got you into DnD: I have always liked the fantasy aspect of playing a character and having them do things that I could never do in real life. I also like the story telling/ immersive comrodary of characters working together. I don't like backstabbers though. Had one of those that was buddy buddy with the DM and that was the last time I ever played with them. Preferred style of game: open, RP immersive, laid back Discord tag: Breaultax #6216, I need to get my account back up and running, I let it lapse so it might take a week or so. Anything I should know: I will need some coaching as all this online stuff is completely new to me, and obviously I am not near Texas. Questions for me: would there be any way for me to sit in on a session to see how things go?
Name(nickname is fine):Michael (or Mike is fine) Age:29 Pronouns:He/HIm Time zone: CST How long have you been playing DnD:When I was a teenager I had a few very short campaigns that quickly fell apart. Had another couple similar stories in the past year or so. However, I have been steadily playing with a group for roughly 6 months now on a west marches game. What got you into DnD:The story of it. I love the combats that can create heroes or make insane stories to talk about later, I love the interactions with NPCs that can expose whole backgrounds or new plot twists, and I love the overarching story that creates an entire world while going through it all. Obviously much more than that too, but just as a general rule I love the stories that get built out of playing the game. Preferred style of game: Hard to say. The only consistent group I've been in is very combat oriented, which I definitely do enjoy the combat, but I really want to get into the roleplay aspect of it too, I'm just not that good at roleplay at the moment and don't get a lot of chances to do it. Discord tag:engineer13#6879 Anything I should know:I'd love to join the Friday session, though it looks like that may be full now, so I'm also down to join the Saturday session. Questions for me:None currently, but I've only used Roll20 sparingly, so I may have some questions on how some of that stuff works later.

Questions for me: None either as of yet! I have all the questions about campaign details but im sure that will come! Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey everyone, I'm a newer player to Pun's campaigns, but it's been an amazing time in the Saturday evening game. Roleplay and intrigue, random encounters and player-fueled plot shifts, nerve-wringing combat and flavorful NPCs: Pun does it all. Doesn't matter what level of experience you have, we're a comfortable mix of players.
