I understand that this could cause inconveniences for people, and I apologize for that in advance. However, it is pivotal for people to read the document to avoid any misunderstandings or misconstructions. I will list a concise advertisement below:
I have found a few players that are interested in the campaign, and I am currently searching for 2 - 3 players to join and bolster the ranks! The sessions are hosted every Saturday at 6 pm CST - for the North American region. I intend on scheduling interviews with prospective applicants to discuss the campaign, sessions, expectations and concerns. The weekly sessions last roughly between 2 and 3 hours. The first session of the campaign will start on the 12th of November - Saturday of this week - at 6pm CST.
The campaign is of my own design, with some races being the same as D&D; the lore behind the races is completely different however. The campaign is designed to appeal to those that enjoy learning about the lore of the world, writing notes and role-playing; the campaign is tailored to those that enjoy immersing themselves into character developments, narration and stories. Those that enjoy focusing on combat will not enjoy the campaign. This campaign could be classified as 'dark fantasy'.
We are not using the 2024 rules!
[Important Notes]
- Players must be above 18 years of age. I prefer players to be above 30 years of age, but that is a mere preference.
- If you are the type of person that lies and pretends to have engagements simply to leave the campaign, or to avoid joining, do not apply.
- If you are the type of person that leaves campaigns if they dislike a particular aspect of the campaign or the host, without discussing it with the host to resolve it, do not apply.
- If you are the type of person that does not reply to messages, hoping that the messaging party will eventually relent, instead of communicating as a mature individual, do not apply.
- If you are rude or disrespectful, do not apply.
I do not wish to be annoyingly repetitive by reiterating myself, but I am searching for mature individuals. I had many issues with players that pretend to be mature, only for their true mettle to manifest. If you are not mature, do not apply, because you will not enjoy the campaign.
[Addendum]
Magical Rules
- Each spellcaster receives a sigil and a gemstone from either the patron or the mentor. The sigil is placed on a bodily part, which is left to the discretion of the player, and could serve as a burn mark, tattoo, et cetera. For spells to manifest, the gemstone - whose colour or nature is left to the player - must be in contact with the sigil; should the gemstone become disconnected from the sigil, for whatever reason, the spellcaster cannot cast any spells.
Sent a request! I love both of the worlds, though I'm leaning towards Aleph personally, but only SLIGHTLY! I think both worlds would be a blast to play in :)
Heya, I'm interested in joining, sent a discord invite under the same name. The World Ba sounded the more interesting for my style of play, but I would be happy with either that, Aleph, or even a creative mixture of both if possible. Happy to hear back from ya!

I would like to inform the prospective applicants the following about magic - other than the necessity of the pact - as I have forgot to state the rules of magic in the main post:
- Cantrips have a finite number of uses, determined by the modifier of the spellcasting ability.

I will be adding these points to the main post as well!
I will be closing recruitment for this campaign by Friday, 11th of November, at 5 pm CST, as I will need time to prepare character backstories for the session!
To create conveniences for players, I will be removing the limit on cantrip usage, as it will be annoying for people to track! I will also correct that in the main post.
Hey there, I'm interested if you still have open slots. I'm more inclined to play in Aleph but I have no particular qualms with Ba either, it would depend on the exact mood and theme you're going for that would largely influence my choice.

Are you still looking for players? I play a druid and am a 47 year old veteran player looking for an online group. I'm available anytime and live in central time.

I would be interested in joining if you still have spots open. I have about 15 years of experience with both DMing and playing in others campaigns. I’m in California so I’m on PST, but I have a pretty free schedule so I can work around other times no problem.

Hello all!
To avoid any issues, please read the post fully!
My threads are always marked as spam, due to the length of the advertisement, and the administrative staff never resolved the issue for me in the past. In order to circumvent the issue, I have uploaded the details of the campaign and the session to a document on Google that can be found at the following link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yEqWSzloxaDL9_hUcq90Lv-HL16nsFcw/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=107939038243667971489&rtpof=true&sd=true

We have a slot for one more player, so I will leave this position open for another week!

The position is still available, and if there are two friends wishing to join together, I am willing to accommodate!
Due to recent player departures, we are currently searching for 2 - 3 players!
