(This is a post from my friend looking for two new or vetran players interested in joining a difficult game.) (Im also a player so I can help with any questions) (Roll20 and Discord)
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Roll20 Experience: 10 Years Location/Timezone: Central US Availability: Fridays Preferred role: DM / Player (Currently Helping a DM) Game style: Hardcore
Setting -
The World of Chronica is currently new in the universal timetable. Lesser deities/Demigods are trying to claim this world for their own while creatures that are born here from the primal ooze still roam freely. Civilization for the mortals hasn't start yet there are pockets of people trying to survive. Magic itself isn't fully known. There are beings called Slayers that are dealing with the rouge deities and the godlike monsters to paveway for mortals to start civilization.
You are one of the peoples that are trying to survive.
Mechanics -
Spellcasting that thing throw it out the window we got Manifestations a homebrew system the uses raw magic and the soul to a thing. Now Spellcasting itself for part 1 isn't used but for later parts it can exist and will by part 3 but the players can make it happen faster.
AC matters more - if you hit a creature or object with +5 to their AC you can add one more damage die to the damage roll this will scale with more like +10 for two damage dice add to damage roll. If a creature fails their saving throw more than 5 the caster can add one more die to it as well this too scales.
Size matter too - If you are bigger you get a better to hit mod as well less ac. Also the Natural Reach of the creature increases. Also the bigger you are you get passive Soak base off how big you are.
Xp homebrew system - Ah its a bit long you have two xp charts one for your Character level and one for your Class levels.
Character level - To determined your character level it is your total experience points you have required for your character. The character level is the only way out of the two levels to get more hit die.
Class Level - You may use your experience points and allocated them up to four different classes to your heart desire or allocate them to feats/ability score improvement with 2,700 experience points and ability boosters for 64,000 experience points.
Prestige Classes - Exist so far there are only three but all they do is work well with the AC matters more and Manifestations.
Crafting - haven't made it yet later acts of part 1
Warfare - Haven't made it yet act 2 of part 1 if players want to play it.
Vibe - chill, combat high lethality, will be no win situations players should act accordingly if they like living for example Big ******* monster in the distance do you go to it or away, they will not be flop onto you will be hints or clues.
What are will doing - part 1 learning the rules exploring, warfare maybe.

I just want to ask a few questions since I have NEVER played a campaign, first is this any ages?
Second, are there any explicit content in the campaign (sex stuff like that)
Third, Is this a paid game?
and lastly, will you be able to teach me stuff if I choose to join (I prefer if this is an online campaign please just let me know)
Contact me on discord at theemmiter
1: I would say around age 18-28
2: Jokes yes but no as in content
3: Yes we can teach you
4: Ill reach out via discord
If it was a paid game it would be listed as a paid game so no. It is not a paid game.
Bump!
