System: DnD 5e Play style: (70/30) RP/Combat Experience: 10+ Years
About me as the Game Master!
Hello, I often go by PUN, I live in Texas with my two cats. I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for about half my life. I have been a Dungeon Master for over 8 years. I have been a professional Dungeon Master for 4 years now. I started out in 4e and quickly moved to 5e where I picked up DMing for my small group of friends. It has been one of my biggest passions and greatest joys being able to make an amazing story with those sitting across the table or, in more recent times, screen.
My GMing style is a bit more laid back than most I have experienced in my day. I hate the feeling of the DM being against or "beating" the players. My goal is to build a story with and around the player in my game. If you are not having fun then I am not having fun.
I love a good roleplay heavy session. I have a couple of voices that I can do but don't make fun of me for slipping in and out of them! I am a super laid back and a "will of the players" type GM. The "rule of cool" is something I live by, I may allow something to happen just because I deem it cool. I sometimes twist or bend the rules to make a game more fun for both the players and myself. I mostly run a homebrew game but love running more sandbox modules such as Out of the Abyss.
Having been a full time professional Dungeon Master for four+ years now, I pride myself on being able to tell a story that draws in everyone at the table. My goal is to connect you to the scene even if your character may not actively be in it. With this being my full time job I am able to fully devote myself to ensuring your enjoyment at my table.
New Session Information
Basic Information for the game is: Game Time: Saturdays starting at 12pm CST and running until 5pm CST Game System: We will be running the 2024 update. Homebrew is allowed just has to be approved first. Game Style: As mentioned above I have a special place in my heart for story centric campaigns. Number of Players: We need three to get started.
I like to develop my games with the players that make them up. So while a general narrative has not been decided those that join in early will be able to help craft the story that they would like to take part in. I have two fully homebrew worlds that we can play in and I am not against playing in an established setting. I want to tell a story with the players sitting around the table with me and those players should have a say in the content of that story.
I also have the capability, based on interest to begin running games on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Game times would start at 11am CST and running until 4pm CST. The same general understanding as the above game of a player centered story. If you are interested feel free to hit a response to this forum.
Already Started Session Information
Basic Information for the game is:
Game Time: Wednesdays starting at 5pm CST and running until 10pm CST Game System: We will be running the 2024 rules. Homebrew is allowed just has to be approved first. Game Style: As mentioned above I have a special place in my heart for story centric campaigns. Number of Players: We need one player, they are level 6.
The Wednesday Game is an Eldritch Horror meets Gothic Horror story. In a City spilling over with with strife between the people, the Universe has seen fit to open the door to even more possibilities. Entities from beyond our own world have made their way into the pages of our story. Siblings in a manor, at least they bicker and squabble as such. They have laid claim to the city, dividing it up like a prize hog. Our party finds themselves in the middle of this squabble and maybe a bit over their heads. Can you help them reopen the door and push the siblings out?
Basic Information for the game is: Game Time: Sunday starting at 1pm CST and running until 5pm CST Game System: We will be running the 2014 rules. Homebrew is allowed just has to be approved first. Game Style: This is more of a war time, politically charged game. This is in the 4th tier of play, so while not required an experienced player would likely find the easiest entry to this game. Number of Players: We need one player, they are level 16 with multiple homebrew boons.
The Sunday game is an epic level game spanning multiple planes of existence. Our story began in Ravnica but has since moved to the amazing world of Dominaria
Ravnica is a worldwide cityscape; an ecumenopolis consisting of a patchwork of grand halls, decrepit slums, and ancient ruins, with layer upon layer of stonework. Law magic and the metaphysics of hierarchy are deeply woven into the very fabric of the plane, enabling cooperating leaders to achieve feats of greatness. It is this vast cityscape that is under attack, our heroes are attempting to save their home from an impossible threat.
Ravnica is a world within the vast multiverse of the Wizards of the Coast game Magic the Gathering. The world of Dominaria is one that some say is the center of the Multiverse. Many powerful people, monsters and artifacts have been known to come from Dominaria. One person, or construct, in particular has been reached out to in hopes that they will help our heroes save Ravnica. Our party finds themselves now trying to save this powerful individual, running around all of Dominaria, making a name for themselves in a world that they do not belong.
Basic Information for the game is: Game Time: Thursday starting at 5:30pm CST and running until 10:30pm CST Game System: We will be running the 2024 rules. Homebrew is allowed just has to be approved first. Game Style: Very role play heavy but also has potential for very high tier of play. Number of Players: We need one player, they are level 3
This is a game of epic proportions. The Player Characters have been summoned by the Arbiter of Death himself. Each with great power at one time or another have been brought back to a more manageable level. Each have made a deal with death in exchange for helping him with a currently unknown task. Great heroes and villains of times long passed make up our merry band of adventures.
Basic Information for the game is:
Game Time: Friday starting at 7pm CST and running until 11pm CST Game System: We will be running the 2024 rules. Homebrew is allowed just has to be approved first. Game Style: Very role play heavy, space fairing campaign. Number of Players: We need one player, they are level 3
After their freighter exploded under mysterious circumstances the party was flung to the outer reaches of space. Now our lovely heroes are trying to rebuild their escape vessel before whatever inhabits this previously thought to be uninhabited planet gets them first. Many questions have arisen about the occurrence. "What caused the explosion? How did we end up in the outer reaches of space? Why has no one tried to contact us yet?" All among them. Come join us as they try to make it back home and maybe answer a few questions along the way.
What to expect.
Payment for games is as follows: I am running a deal right now that the first 3 months of play only cost $100 per month. After the 3 months period when you for sure know this is a good fit for you the price will be returned to its normal amount of $125 a month. We only play 4 times a month allowing me to take a break on any month that has a 5th day of the week that we play on.
I know $100 a month can sound steep to play D&D but that is $25 a session for the four sessions we play together. I put a lot of time and energy into making these games enjoyable for you and tailored to each group. This is my full time job so I can focus on my games and only my games. I also have reviews of the players I currently have in my games to help attest to the fact that this game will indeed be worth the price tag.
I have one group that has been playing over 4 years now, they just finished their first campaign and are starting a new one together. My Sunday game just reached their four year mark as well and have completed their story. The one thing all games want is to make it to a satisfying end, with my games we are able to do that with consistency. People that pay into the games are more likely to put quality time into them and make sure they are there. So we miss far fewer sessions and are able to make it into the long term.
All races and classes in official Wizards of the Coast published book are free game to use. I am even open to allowing UA/Homebrew as long as it has been submitted and approved by me before session 1 begins. We will be using roll20 for maps and combats, discord for voice chat, and D&Dbeyond for character sheet upkeep and rolling. There is an extension (beyond20) that allows you to roll on D&DBeyond and it port it over to roll20 and I have found it to be super effective. So that will be used as well.
We will work together to build backstories that tie into the world. This allows for more immersion into the story. We will discuss what type of game we are all wanting to play, where and how we wish to start, and if any of our characters have connected backstories. With this completed we can go into the first session with a running jump.
The first actual session and getting you set up into the game is free.
Parting words
I understand that paying money to play this game can sometimes be off putting. But when you consider the man hours I put into creating an immersive campaign story for you to play, D&Dbeyond content, as well as other purchases I make to run a great campaign, it is almost nothing to pay for the numerous hours of enjoyment that you will receive in return. It not only assures my level of commitment but the other players as well. If you are concerned at all about my quality as a Dungeon Master I have 26 players currently paying for my games, and dozens more, that I have played with in the past, who would vouch for my ability.
I do require my players to be 18+, this allows for more mature topics to be discussed, but other than that all are welcome to apply. I can work with any skill level from the just watched CritRole (or other D&D media) and want to play to the old timers playing since before I was born. Something I have to add is, be open to constructive criticism, old players and new alike, we are playing a collaborative storytelling game together. If someone has an issue with something that happened we should be able to settle it as adults. If that is not something you think you can do I ask that you please find another game. If you can, then I will welcome you with open arms to our (virtual) table.

What got you into DnD: If I recall it was an initial plan for a oneshot for a friend's birthday, where none of us had played before. This will also be my first paid campaign experience so... let's see how it goes.
Questions for me: Nothing right now... I'm sure if/when it comes to chatting more about the campaign I'll have plenty of questions, but more likely about the game itself. I prefer to let a DM sell themselves and their playstyle to me during an actual game as it's the most natural way to experience their DMing style than ask them a multitude of questions about how they like to do things.
Looking forward to potentially chatting more about this!

Hi there! I'm one of Pun's players and I joined the Saturday evening game a few months ago. Pun & players were fun and so I joined a second table!
