Welcome to the Realm of Evvre, an old world with a long history expanding into legends and myths. When the foundations of the world were formed and set by the One True God, He blessed it and gifted it to His creations. Dragons were given the Elemental Domains, the reservoirs of primeval power churning around the Sea of Chaos. Elves were given the Faerie Realm, a green and lovely land filled with verdancy and wilds. The Dwarves were given the Underworld where riches lay to be discovered. Humans were given the Mortal Lands, the surface of the world, where the beauties of creation converge.
As ages passed, the Dragons and Elves used their magic to pass between the veils and the Dwarves dug up from their depths and the Humans learned that there was more to learn and subdue, dragons breached the barriers of the elemental planes, and the Dark Consortium escaped the confines of the Gloom ward.
The passing of beings to and from was not unnatural or harmful to the world, as magic flows naturally from the planes into the Mortal Lands. But those who wield magic soon learned that they could unleash untold power by opening these streams into rivers. And the natural order was wounded.
You my friend are recruited into the Guild of Seekers, Adventure seeking heroes aboard the Guild Train Velkra. The first magical train of it's kind able to travel at incredible speeds, possibly through time its self. What will you seek?
Please reply by answering the following questions.
What is your experience with dnd 5e?
What is your preferred playstyle?
What do you not want in your games that you play?
What time would you be available for Saturdays or Sundays?
Are you a team player?
Do you enjoy playing heroic characters over evil ones?
I’ve been playing dnd since I was 8 and 5e off and on since it came out.
my PlayStyle is 60/40 diplomacy and combat
the only real thing I get uncomfortable with is when people oversexualize their party members and npcs. Romance is great but sometimes it goes a bit far.
sundays anytime really but preferably afternoon.
i am very much a team player, though a little PvP isn’t always bad.
im fine playing evil and heroic characters, wether their motives are just or not I think every body has a reason.
i have never missed a session unless it was a medical emergency, id say over my entire career I’ve missed five between multiple campaigns
What is your experience with dnd 5e? I'm a bit late to the 5e party, but I've warmed up to it. I'm still learning, but I have the basics down.
What is your preferred playstyle? I am a task-driven player. If I play a martial character, I try to defeat the baddies as efficiently as possible. If I play a rogue, I disarm traps, scout ahead, and try to make myself as useful as possible. Roleplaying elements are not really my jam. I'll participate, but I tend not to say as much as others. I usually patiently wait for the other players to get their social fill while looking forward to the next dangerous outing.
What do you not want in your games that you play? Days and times that I won't be able to meet on.
What time would you be available for Saturdays or Sundays? Saturdays after 12:00 noon (central time)
Are you a team player? Yes
Do you enjoy playing heroic characters over evil ones? Yes
What is your experience with dnd 5e?: I have 5 years of experience playing a Cleric in an in person long term campaign, and have played online sessionswith another group for at least 2 years.
What is your preferred playstyle?: Most of the campaigns I have played so far were with people I already had relationships with, so it might take me a little bit to come out of my shell and figure out the character chemistry between party players, but I love roleplaying together and seeing character dynamics. In combat I try to stay creative with the various character and class features, while also playing my party role.
What do you not want in your games that you play?: As long as we're not playing murder hobos and actually interact with the characters and world, I'll be good. Extreme gore might be a no from me though.
What time would you be available for Saturdays or Sundays?: Would be available on Saturdays all day.
Are you a team player?: Absolutely! I try to keep character interactions fun and the improve rolling smoothly and keep in mind everyone's point of view and playstyle.
Do you enjoy playing heroic characters over evil ones?: At this time I have not really gotten a chance to play an Evil aligned character, but I would be interested as long as the roleplay still has depth beyond 'kill this guy and move on'. Heroic characters are probably more my jam though (with some grey morality as a treat).
Have you missed a lot of sessions in the past?: I try to communicate regularly with my DM and fellow players on if I won't be available, however I have accidentally missed a session or two in the past, not a regular occurrence for me to miss full sessions, in fact of the campaigns I've played we didn't really make a habit of playing if a party member was missing.
