You are a member of the most prestigious adventuring company in the Forgotten Realms. As new adventurers you were first whisked away together to the realm of Barovia and rescued its folk from the dread Lord Strahd. When you returned you saved Faerun from the dangers of the death curse by daring the Tomb of Annihilation and defeated the Abyssal fiends that bubbled up Out of the Abyss from the Underdark. The crown jewel of your adventuring career was the defeat of the goddess Tiamat before her cultists could bring her into this realm. Your other adventures are too many to be enumerated, but suffice to say that every time the Realms have called for assistance you and your friends were there to answer. Now, on the cusp of your group's retirement from the craft of adventuring, you have been called upon one last time - to defeat a foe that cannot be slain by any weapon or affected by any magic!
