Hi there, this sounds amazing to be a part of! Re experience, I've played in a number of games for ~5 years give or take, though never anything consistently longform due to schedules and life things. But I've also watched tons of Crit Role and played a lot of BG3, so between that and the actual game playtime I'd say I'm quite familiar with the rulesets. Though I might have to look up some of the 2024 updates!
As for playstyle, I tend to gravitate towards more serious/stoic characters, though I certainly don't mind making "filler" ones to round out a party. I love the RP and character building aspect of games and would love to see my character and everyone else's grow and change along with the plot of the game. I do enjoy combat too though, and tend to love mages/magic casters most of all!
