I usually DM, and am currently doing so for a group that meets bi-monthly and a PBP Game on here but I'm looking to get involved as a player as well and I am looking for an online group that preferably suits my time zone. I'm based in the UK so its GMT. I'm familiar with 5E rules and am free evenings and weekends. Any takers?

Adventure's I've published on DMs Guild: The Temple of Bhaal - A gothic horror themed "one-shot" single session adventure for 1st level characters. The Palace of Evendur - An ethereal fairy tale "one-shot" single session adventure for 1st level characters.
I've used Discord before as well as Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds so any of those would be fine. I'm also up for trying out any other platforms that suit.

Nice. May I suggest to change the title of the thread? Put the time zone, this way people in Europe can see that there is a group searching for other players.

Yep, you're correct and awesome. Hopefully we can get enough people to form a group.

I don't really wanna DM I'd like to be a player too, so I guess the size would be up to whoever wants to DM. I recon between 3 and 7 would be a decent number though.

Do you think you'd wanna go homebrew or a standard adventure? And (for both of you) how often do you think we'd be playing? Some stuff that's good to know when inviting people ^-^
For the adventure, I can both (I have outlined a homebrew adventure, but I also have the published ones, whichever you prefer). I guess we will play in the weekend, so once a week more or less.
Once a week sounds great. Im open to homebrew or published. I like the forgotten realms setting, but im easy depending on what every one else wants to do. What platform do you like to DM using? Ive used roll20, fantasy grounds and discord but im open to try anything as long as it works for the group.

I live in Switzerland, so we are fine for the time zone.

If I'm understanding this thread correctly you're beginning to form a group now and looking for more players?
If so, I'd be happy to join (from Sweden, so the timezone is alright)

Oh yes, please do. We are DM and 2 players now. Four with your friends. Next things will be: platform and adventure :-)

I have a license on Fantasy Ground. Never played with Roll20.
Let's see, I would go with a published one, for a time management reason. ToA? (*evil face*)
My preference for platform is that we do it via voice chat rather than text, since it makes roleplaying a lot richer imo
