Hey after this update I'm having this bug where some of the text is grey and the aether walk feature has red text saying no scale data. Do you know how to fix this?
Does this change require creating a new blood hunter to take effect?
For example on one of my player's pre-update sheet his hunters bane is limited to only having int, whereas freshly created BH's have the choice, is there no way to update the sheet without having to re-create the entire character?
so glad they fixed the toggle on lycan blood hunters... was quite a pain to edit before
Did they? I don't see the toggle option on my Lycan character sheet.
To further add to this, when you choose one over the other does it calculate correctly if you choose wisdom, I've tried and I'm not seeing the calculations change at all. Going to check with a new character right now, not sure if a brand new character needs to be created.
So I created a newer character and it works fine, but it does not work on an existing character, do I have to have them remade for it to calculate it correctly
they added the lycan attacks to the main page, but previously you had to edit the character to go into lycan mode
oh not all of your things apply unless you switch it in edit mode like the AC boost and advantages and what not
o yah thats true. hope they manage to get a easier toggle feature for that.
Did they?

Hi, I just wanted to know if the "Great Weapon Fighting" was also uptade this year
I'm pretty sure that it said that you couldn't reroll crimson rite damage dices, but now it doesn't seems to be implicit
So was it on purpose? Or just a text adjust to make it looks like the oficial books?
Just to make it clear what you're asking about:
As of the 2020 update to the blood hunter (as can currently be seen in the preview on DMsGuild), the Great Weapon Fighting option for the Fighting Style feature read:
However, it currently reads:
I've confirmed with the content team that this was an intentional change, as per the changes sent to us by the CR team.
Doesn’t change anything as per sage advice extra damage like divine smite and the like is not re-rolled. Only the damage from the weapon dice.
Just about to level up my Bloodhunter to 11 and noticed "Brand of Sundering" no longer requires a brand to be active on a creature to gain extra rite damage?
Previously it stated-
Now it states -
Is this intended to allow Ghostslayer's to always roll an extra rite die. RAW it reads as such with this change?
Just curious because it seems a little vague on this. It says for the Variant Hemocraft Modifier:
"As a blood hunter, you use your Intelligence modifier for some of your class and subclass features. However, with your DM’s permission, you can choose to instead use your Wisdom modifier for all your blood hunter features that use your Intelligence modifier by default."
Is this change supposed to also include swapping out the proficiency in Intelligence Saving Throws with proficiency in Wisdom Saving Throws? It FEELS like it should, but I wanted to make sure because it doesn't change the saving throws in the character sheet. I wasn't sure if that's how it's supposed to be, or if it was just a mistake that the Saving Throw proficiencies weren't changed. It's not that big of an issue if it doesn't, but if it does then that has some powerful implications for the Order of the Lycan, given it's Bloodlust feature is a Wisdom Saving Throw with a DC of 8.
Currently facing issue with the blood hunter: Order of the Profane Soul. I can seem to pick any patron for the subclass 🤔
Due to how the updated Blood Hunter works, there are three Profane Soul options; the default one (which won't let you pick a patron), and a Wisdom and Intelligence version (which will let you pick a patron). You need to pick whichever one matches your hemeocraft ability.

No, save proficiencies aren't included. There are three good save proficiencies in 5e(Dex, Con, and Wis) and three bad ones(The other three), and each class gets one from each category. Having two good saves would unbalance Wis-based blood hunters.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
