Bidet everyone!
Those of you using the very special Blood Hunter class by Matthew Mercer are in for some updates next week! New errata will be updating the features of the class, and our team will be working to represent that as best we can within our system.
These changes are going to include some maintenance time that could impact your existing character. That maintenance will begin on February 14th, 2022 between the hours of 5:00am and 9:00am PT. When we begin the work, we'll announce it here. If you have any issues with your Blood Hunters during this time, we ask for your patience.
Once the maintenance is complete, we’ll let you know so you can explore the changes and get your character ready for their next game! At that time, we’ll also provide a list of changes here for easy review.
EDIT 5:19 am PT: Updates are now in progress.
EDIT: 10:08 am PT: Updates are now complete.

Changes on your D&D Beyond character sheet:
All Blood Hunters can now choose between using Intelligence or Wisdom for their Blood Hunter abilities.
Level 1: Hunters Bane - it will now prompt users to pick between INT/WIS for their Hemocraft modifier. Doing so will allow the rest of the Blood Hunter features (and Blood Curses) to populate in the character builder and will allow the character sheet to reflect the selected modifier.
Level 3: Each subclass will require (upon selection) the user to re-pick their Hemocraft modifier. The exception to this will be Order of the Profane Soul, where folks will see both Order of the Profane Soul (INT) and Order of the Profane Soul (WIS). By default, any existing Order of the Profane Soul characters will belong to the INT version of the subclass.
Order of the Lycan has its Claw attacks as a part of the base subclass (rather than behind the character builder toggle like it previously was).
Snippets have been refreshed for clarity, and improved auto-calculations.
I'm playing a Blood Hunter in a game for the first time and I am also very curious to see what will be changed. How can I save my current character in DDB in case the changes drastically alter his ability in my game?

I don’t think you can, errata is law for DNDBeyond… You could screenshot the ‘old rules’ or save the character as a pdf..
That's why we provided this notice on Friday, to give folks a chance to export their character sheets to PDF, or prepare other options in case they had a session during the update. There's no time that could be convenient for everyone, as we've got an international community, but our Lorekeepers team is working as prudently and swiftly as possible to get this completed for you all. <3 We appreciate your patience!

Did some of the blood curses get taken away... I swear that we were using some blood curses that do not appear to be in the drop down anymore.
Edited to add, their is no list that their is a pre-requisite for
Blood Curse of the Fallen Puppet
however, my characters now can't use it at the level they were using it at, and I can't seem to make it appear in the drop down (it also doesn't say that curse belongs to a specific sub-class.

Hi!
In order to see it again, you'll need to select your primary Hemocraft modifier - it should be selectable under the Hunter's Bane feature. When you do that, it'll populate with Blood Curse of the Fallen Puppet.
Blood hunter Lycan claw attacks have lost their unarmed strike prof bonus I noticed since this update, just so your folks are tracking :)
Is this an implementation error (I see that the "proficient" flag is not selected in the Predatory Strikes actions granted by the feature), or a deliberate change of the rules by Matt?
(Guess we'll see if Chetney Pock O'Pea will start hitting less often with his claws... 🤔)

Unfortunately just a simple mistake on my end - thanks for the reports! This has been fixed now.
Ignoring the first homebrew subclass, these are the only ones available to me and my friends, even selecting the Wisdom option in the Hunter's Bane doesn't change it. Anything I'm doing wrong?

I am not sure I understand the question, myself. mostly due to the fact those subclasses are the only ones that exist for blood hunter without doing homebrews. The blood hunter only had four sub classes prior to this update and I think this update was mostly to adjust things to have better flow (which I'm guessing Matt might have redone things after Travis decided to be a blood hunter for this campaign but that's just a guess on my part. They did add more options in case you pick the order of the Profane Soul to other options other than that was originally allowed (and even though it says (INT) next to profane soul you can still choose WIS or INT at level one).

What's being done??!! What are the specifics?!? I must know... Please?

What if we are currently doing a session using the character while it’s updating? I also noticed some changes currently happening to it.
It pronounced Den Sake. It is not Japanese.
Website character sheet not working fix (Hopefully)
Semi-Expert at homebrew, just ask for my help.

Thanks so much for letting me know, I actually had thought I already activated that but apparently I had not.
I'm not seeing the unsealed/revealed arcana spells for Profane Soul?
EDIT: Now they're there!

I was toying around trying to give one of my characters a level of Monk, and I noticed that you made the correction.
I then came here to redact my comment and have seen yours.
Quick and excellent response! Thank you so much! 💖
Is profane soul supposed to have a Wisdom option for their hemocraft modifier? The only option available is Order of the Profane Soul (INT)
There are two subclass options for the Profane Soul, you'll need to choose the Wisdom option for your subclass!
