(OOC: Yeah I'm really regretting the decision to send Kriv to do that by himself. Probably should have had Calvin or Zeminny do that, but I was trying to stay in character lol. Zale was thinking this part would be more of a stealth mission than a combat mission. Either way I really regret sending Kriv off by himself. Should have thought that through a bit better.)
Zale nods to Eric. "If we have to we have to. Though we may be able to create another distraction. I could go up there and just start talking to the guards, and Calvin could sneak into the nursery as a lizard, once in, he could either through the earring, try to steal the eggs, or just make some omelettes depending on what is easier. I'll try to get past the guards as well, but If I can't then it'll be up to you." She nods at Calvin. "I still say we wait a few more minutes, just not to long."
(OOC: Waiting for the DM to see my perception roll, then will try to make a final decision unless you all want to do something else. It seems like Zale has become the leader in this, which is not what i was intending, but i suppose it makes sense given her backstory.)
occ: So right now there are three drangonclaw guards at the entrance, is that right? Maybe the Kobold has dispatched orders after the fire. I think we could just wait a little to see if someone moves from the cave before ambushing them, but is up to all of you to decide...
((OOC: Ok, maybe I should have asked this earlier, but I'm not a DM that likes to railroad his campaigns (and I kinda wanted to see what would happen). So... ARE YOU SURE?? Remember last night? You went into a cave and almost got killed by rats...))
There are 4 Dragonclaws scattered around the entrance of the cave. The 3 figures with purple robes ((META: Frulam Mondath a female Human, Langdedrosa Cyanwrath her right-hand Half-Dragon and Rezmir the leader of the camp. Rezmir is a black Half-Dragon)) had 2 Dragonclaws with them. They also went inside (for now, see my next post).
Zale watches the Kobold run into the cave and listens to Eric. "I agree. If they don't move soon, we can either forget this plan, or just try to throw this bead past them, or at them and hope it kills the guards and perhaps even collapses the cave opening. I don't want to want to wait to long. Kriv be off by himself and the last thing I want is to lose another comrade."
She watches the guards pondering how risky it would be to try to lie her way into the nursery, or if sneaking past them would be possible.
Perception: 17
You've observed the guards for a while. They kill random animals if they get to close, warn mercenaries if they get to close but they did let that 1 Kobold pass without batting an eye. You gather that it's their job is to keep everyone away from the cave, and they are fanatical about it. Only the ones the guards know by sight and by voice are allowed to approach.
You see the Kobold return from the cave. He is followed by Cyanwrath and 1 of the Dragonclaws that went with him inside (so 4 Dragonclaws on guard and 1 inside with Rezmir and Frulam, that you know of). They're making their way to the burning tents.
Ah yes! Wesley! I don't know what she sees in that lazy donkey.
As the group (mercenaries and Kriv) makes their way to a big tent (this tent isn't decorated with with painted designs representing dragons, instead you see mostly blue elements with white crowns), the Cultists have put out the flames. Cyanwrath is a on his way (but Kriv doesn't know that.).

occ: Eric is to incline to suicide mission, (actually I forgot about who were the purple robes lol) but he is not either incline to escape so I think that trowing the earring inside the nursery is the last we can do XD
(OOC: Zale is not intending on getting into combat right now. She just want's to do a hit and run type thing if that's even possible. I don't think it's metagaming for me to think she would know she can't take on the half-dragons even with three allies. She also doesn't want to lose any more friends.)
As She observes the cultists, Zale starts to question whether or not this plan is worth it. After she watches one of the half dragons follow the Kobold towards the flames, she turns to the others. "I don't think this plan is going to work. I don't see any chance of sneaking in or bluffing our way in, so the best chance we have is to throw this as far in there as we can, then make a run for it. That half dragon was going towards Kriv. Perhaps one of us should go find him. Calvin? Are you up for that? As for the rest of us. We will throw this earring in there, then sneak over to the Kobold area. We will wait for you and Kriv just outside the camp. Sound good? If you aren't there within an hour, we will come back and find you... Or if Eek is back by then we will send him in with some of his kobolds."
Eric exhales sharply "It works for me, we cannot fight them alone right now, at least we'll strike hard and we'll finish the work once we'll face them again"
Zeminny will go along with the plan, but has a bad feeling about attacking any further inside this encampment without an army to help.
“ maybe we should get out while the getting is good. We freed the prisoners, and now have good intel on this camp. We should head back to greenest with Eek and his crew so we can get the town engaged.
Zale rubs her chin and sighs, "Perhaps your right Zeminny. I suppose it might be a better idea just to cut our losses and come back when we are stronger. I really hate to leave without hitting them where it hurts, but it may be better to get out before the half-dragon's see our faces." After saying that a look of fear crosses her face, "Oh Gods, That blue half-dragon just went over to where Kriv is. If he sees 'im, he'll probably recognize him. Boiling seas! That one could recognize any of us!" She faces the others, "That's it, new plan. Forget the eggs for now, we need to find Kriv and get out of here before that half-blooded bastard finds him first." She clearly isn't happy with abandoning their plan, but she really doesn't want Kriv to pay for her not thinking everything through.
She puts the last earring in her satchel then starts to make her way towards the smoke. Once again, she tries be stealthy though she doesn't bother trying to look casual. She just runs towards the smoke figuring if someone sees her, they'd figure she was just trying to figure out what is going on, or is simply worried about a companion. Sometimes the best lie is a version of the truth. She thinks to herself bitterly. As she runs, she keeps an eye out for any sign of Kriv.

No one bothers you as you make your way to the burnt out tent. Keeping your distance you see Cyanwrath talking with some Cultists. One of them points to big blue tent with blue elements with white crowns. After a while Cyanwrath heads in that direction.
Speaking of which: Kriv, the mercenaries take you inside where you see the familiar face of Anne. Your new friends explain what happened and Anne pinches her nose.
Leave us! She tells the others. Once the two of you are alone she turns to you and continues with a grinn. So, found a new contract already? I think it's best you and your friends stay low for a while. I didn't catch your name last time?
There is some commotion outside. One of the mercs comes in: Capt'n, I think you should handle this. It's Cyanwrath.
You stay here! She tells you (Kriv) and goes outside. Because the discussion is quite heated you can mostly make out what's being said. Cyanwrath accuses the Compagny of the Prince of the Fireball incident.
Anne: You know we don't have any casters! You've vetted us yourself!
Cyan: Regardless, we can't keep you around anymore. Too much mistrust.
Anne: We've got a contract! If we let us go now, you still have to pay us 60 percent!
Cyan: *Draconic cursing* You'll get your coin! But you leave tonight!
Anne: Very well, we'll start packing once my steward tells me you've paid.
With that Cyanwrath storms off. Anne comes back in the tent.
Looks like you're coming with us... It might be smart for your friends to join us.
(Ok Just wanted to double check where he was because that will affect where Zale will go.)
Zale continues to avoid Cyanwrath making her way around the tent so that he won't see her. As she does so she continues to look for Kriv with no success. Had she missed him? Had he already fled to the Kobold area? She looks around to see if there are any Kobolds or Mercenaries nearby. Once she finds one she will stop them and ask, "You haven't happened to see a big blue dragonborn in this area? I heard the explosion, and I just want to make sure he wasn't caught in it. He was headed this way when I last saw him."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Okay, I'm just going to point out that yes, Calvin was prepared to go in for a fight. However, he is new to adventuring and is impetuous because of his lack of knowledge in fighting. He has spent most of his time studying lizards, not fighting. But he swore not to let anyone else die and doesn't know what he is doing.)
Calvin relaxes his body when he realises that the rest are no longer willing to fight. He looks almost disappointed. He takes a moment to stare at the nursery, then follows behind Zale at a distance.

Come on. You'd better come with us. Before those buggers think you had something to do with that.
He gestures at the Cultists that are now extinguishing the flames.
