It continues to drizzle, it is dark and it is also getting a bit colder. You try to pay attention to the surroundings, but it doesn't go well for you.
Anator notices some kind of large chicken. It appears to have bat-like wings. Since it doesn't appear to be a threat to you, Anator again warns no one.
Khessa, it's still drizzling when you watch starts. Roll a Perception check.
On her watch, Zale decides to walk laps around the camp, checking on the horses and hoping to be able to keep an eye out for anything approaching at any angle of the camp.

Anator informs you about the strange chicken. You don't see it however. Anator tells you it was heading north, away from you little camp.
Khessa, genuinely intrigued by the mention of such a strange creature, tries to get Anator to describe it to the best he remembers and annotates it in her grimoire as an 'unknown nocturnal animal, apparently not too aggressive, whose nature might be worth further research. delve into it for knowledge's sake'.
Once Zale's shift is over, she carefully wakes everyone up by loudly shouting, "I'll right matey's! Up with ye! Time's a wasting so let's get to it!" At this point she's already packed up her sleeping roll and eaten some of her rations, which consisted of salted beef and hard cheese. She claps her hands together, "Chop Chop! Come on now! The rain do be stoppin' so might as well get a move on in case it starts up again."
Zeminny is wide eyed an ready to roll, sitting atop Oaf with drizzle standing next to him. Drizzle will occasionally swipe at a puddle of water to watch how it it splashes.
Khessa, used to getting up early to help with the work in the fields, gets up without making a fuss: "Oh, thanks Zale, I'll be ready soon..."
She begins to prepare to face the new day. After stretching briefly, consuming a few dry rations to give herself energy, loosening the muscles with a few greatsword slashes and reviewing the spells she intends to keep in mind that day, she ushers Anator into his hidden position (near the neck, under her curls) leaving him most of the time, to keep his senses alert. Finally, she brushes, cleans and grooms Zewna then… she jumps on!
As the group sets off, the blonde arcane warrior tries to ask everyone: "Yesterday, during the night, Anator sensed some kind of large chicken that had bat-like wings. The creature didn't come to disturb us, so my brother didn't wake us up... but I'd be curious to know what kind of creature it could be! I don't know chickens like this... Any of you have any idea?"
Kriv jumps up and packs his things. He moves his component pouch to the front of his belt and stashes some rations inside. He mounts his horse and begins pulling out rations to eat.
Zale grins and pats Taynin's neck. She'd already brushed the stallion down to the fetlocks and had him all tacked up. "Haha! No problem Khessa! ...That doesn't sound like any chicken I've heard of..." She taps the side of her jaw thoughtfully.

After a short breakfast you guys are on your way again. Eric, after an hour or so you notice a rock in the fields. That's a strange place for such a rock...
"Uh, quite curious, why did someone place a stone like that over there, I wonder?" the dwarf mumbles and approaches the stone to inspect it closely. As anyone else of his kind, he cannot resist the curiosity the stone have inspired...

As you get closer you notice that it's not a stone but a statue of a wolf. A beautifully carved statue. As you consider where the Dwarf who made this might have come from, the details catch your eye. No, this is not a statue! This is a petrified wolf!
Khessa had gone a little further to let Zewna vent at a gallop, but when she realizes that someone has stopped behind her, she turns back, curious.
The blonde arcane warrior arrives and reins the mare just behind the dwarf cleric, greeting him cheerfully: "Hey, Eric! Such a dwarf's nose, to find such a beautiful sculpture in the middle of nowhere! Look at the fine details! The tusks! The sculptor he even sculpted the drool that drips from his lips! It looks alive! I wonder who left it simply there... It must have a great artistic value..." she begins to meditate "If only it had been made on a smaller scale... so heavy to carry, I don't even know if we could succeed... Damn, I had heard of that spell summoning a flying saucer of force, which was able to carry even quite heavy weights... Nixi, you know it? Nixi! Come and see this wonder!"
(Lol well I certainly know what the chicken is now.)
Zale had been keeping Taynin at a steady lope up until she noticed Eric stopping to look at something. Reining in her steed, she lets him trot over to Eric then stops to look a the strange statue. "That be mighty strange. What's it doin way out here?"
"I'm right here,"replies Nixi, "I've heard of that spell, 'Tenser's disc' or something like that, but I don't know it, sorry. Are we sure that's a statue? It looks very realistic..."
