Khessa's WIS save (rolling with Advantage thanks to Eric's Motivational Speech): 9
Hmmm... Motivated or not, WIS is still not Khessa's favorite save...
Sorry, I just now read that I didn't have Advantage. I think the roll failed anyway... but if it matters, we can consider that I rolled the lower value of the two (a 4 instead of a 7, for a total save of 6 instead of 9).
Anyway, Snapjaw open the door (softly muttering in Draconic) to what used to be the rectory. Now 4 Dragonclaws seem to have made it their living quarters. They all stand up: What's your business here?
Snapjaw: We have urgent news for Wyrmspeaker!
Dragonclaw: She's in a meeting! Come back tomorrow!
[[ OOC: Well, guys... It's clear that we can't come back tomorrow. We'll have to kill them. We can probably surprise them. If someone good at Deception pretends to want to explain to them the reason for the urgency and invites them to look out of those slits or windows that the map shows on the curved side on the left... and while they get distracted looking at there, we attack... Maybe we can take out some of them just in the surprise round. What do you think? If you agree... whoever has good Deception, try rolling! ]]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zale steps in. Plastering a fake look of urgency and frustration on her face, she yells back at them in whichever language is currently being spoken, "This can't wait until the 'morrow fools! Unless you wish to lose a good deal of your workers, you should listen to us." She points at the windows, "Hah! I wouldn't be surprised if the threat comes into view of those windows by the time I finish speaking. Ye here me?! This cannot wait!"
Khessa stays back, with a wicked smile on her lips, starting an incantation.... In the deep of her blue eyes shines an unusual maleficient light.
[[ OOC: Way to go, Zale! I know we can always trust your tongue! As far as Khessa is concerned, I'll finish posting her turn as soon as we have the full initiative order and she is up... ]]
Khessa finishes her spell, sneering: "Die, scum! Taste the fire of the queen of dragons!" and points her finger at one of the Dragonclaws, shooting a mote of fire at them.
Khessa's WIS save (rolling with Advantage thanks to Eric's Motivational Speech): 15

Good to know.

Deception: 26
A 25?! Well I suppose that works...
2 of the Dragonclaws go to look out the slits in a hurry. The other 2 also turn around.
You get around of surpise attacks (post your init while you're at it).

My suprise attack is on post #4489.
I somehow missed that. It's a hit, but the Dragonclaw still stands.
