(OOC: I thought the plan was to get them all drunk? Or are we still trying to attack them?)
Kyrsa gives Akyan a look, then flinches a little as the orcs lead Tamryn away from them. "I'm not sure we have much of a choice anymore. Let's just stick with this plan... but lets also make sure we focus on the getting them drunk part. Unless Mina and Jhaarteal can come for backup, I'd rather not start a fight here if it can be helped."
Then she turns to the orcs and jogs to catch up with them, "Heyyy, don't forget about me Tim." She looks at Tamryn as she says the first name that she can think of, "Don't spend all your money on these strangers." She looks at the orcs, giving them a small smile as if daring them to do exactly what she is saying not to do, "Try not to take advantage of him will you? If you ask nicely enough he might just buy you a fourth, fifth, and sixth drink and still think your on your second one." She gives a rather stiff chuckle before wagging a finger at them, "I trust you won't try that. He's still got to pay for my drink as well. And he owes my friends here too." She nods to Akyan and Lyndaran, then smirks, her eyes flitting towards 'Tim' again before she turns her attention back to Akyan.
Then she says in a voice just barely loud enough for the orc's to hear, "Maybe this will teach him a lesson on what is and isn't a good investment. Once he sobers up anyways."
In a lower whisper she says, "Gods I don't know what I'm doing, but I don't know what Tamryn's goal is here either. I just don't want to start a fight unless we really have the upper hand. ...Where are Mina and Jhaarteal? How close are they?"
((Mina and Jhaartael and their contact have all caught up to the Krysa and the others per post #1860 ))
Jhaartael murmurs something about "Just in time..." Then he whispers "sandastan"shimmering briefly as he taps himself on the chest with his ringed hand.
Buknog pauses as Kyrsa approaches. "Anudder elf... this guy a friend o' yours? Friends don't let friends walk around this part o' town plastered and braggin' about how much gold they got..." He then looks past Kyrsa and takes note of the growing crowd of elves in the alley. He then starts to speak a little more loudly, "Oh.. uh.. wow, wot a coincidence, there's five more elfies over there... kinda unusual... maybe, uh... maybe we...I ... should take this fella up on his offer o' drinks..."
Faint whispers can be heard from the alley northwards, as the other orcs discuss a change of plans...
(botting Lyndaran for a while, Frandal still pretty sick...)
As Jhaartael and Mina rejoin the group, Lyndaran glances at the newcomer. "Hello," he says, "Who's this?"
Nyblond looks to the wizard to introduce him.
Kyrsa sees the door to the tavern open, light and loud voices spilling out into the alley. Two humans stumble out unsteadily, see the huddle of half-orcs in the alley, then turn and quickly re-enter the tavern.
Akyan, who is currently disguised as a human, doesn't have the chance to respond to Kyrsa before she makes her way over to Tamryn and the half-orcs. He glances back at Mina, Jhaartael and the new elf. Nodding to the newcommer, he says, "Sorry to cut the introductions short, but we are kind of in the middle of something so they may have to wait. Kyrsa still wants to take out these half-orcs, not sure how she wants to do it yet."
He glances over at the eladrin and focuses his mind on her creating a mental link, "Kyrsa, what is the plan? Are we going for a strait up fight? Or are we going to subdue them through other means? Can you see the other three?"
The drow walks towards the half-orc and stops just on Tamryn's right. (the square above Tamryn) Crossing his arms, he glances at Tamryn and then looks at the half-orc, "Friend is a strong word. I wouldn't complain if some thug decided to jump this guy and take everything on him. Maybe then he'd stop gambling so much. Though, if that were the case, I'd have to pay my own tab." He sighs, "That said, if I were you, I'd take him up on his offer...so long as you don't run him so dry he can't buy mine as well."
Kyrsa is relieved that Akyan made the mental link, surprised that the orcs didn't catch on to their little plan already. However, she is still unclear as to what Tamryn's original plan was. Hopefully she didn't just ruin it accidentally. Ugh, this is why communication is so important.
"I honestly don't know," she replies. "As I said before, I thought that the plan was to get these bastards drunk and then dispose of them afterwards. But I'm not sure if that was Tamryn's plan. He might have been trying to lure them into the ally so that we could jump them while they tried to mug him...which would have bene an alright plan if we'd known that backup was coming. But, I didn't know that. So, now we are going with the getting them drunk plan anyways. I just hope that Tamryn has figured that out and is on board with it.... though this could be a lot of wasted money. Grrr, what a mess."
She hesitates, her thoughts still audible to Akyan if not just a little muffled as they aren't really directed at him, "I really should have just let them take him so we could go with the original plan and kill them all. But to late now. Hopefully this works." She redirects her thoughts fully to Akyan, "Does anyone have any spells that could potentially knock one out or put one or two to sleep early? If we could do that it could save us some coin."
"Alright, let me ask Mina." The young drow responds.
Then he directs his thoughts towards the Sea elf, "So as of now, the plan is to get this lot drunk then use their identities to get into HQ. Kyrsa would like to know if any of you magic users have a spell that could knock a few out early. If you do, it could save us some coin. "
Nyblond raises his eyebrows in wonder as he sees one member of the group of elves apparently inebriated to the point of imbecility, and two others of the band apparently quite willing to let him be taken advantage of by these cartel half-orcs. There are also lots of meaningful glances amongst the elves, but very little is said out loud. And his presence seems to have barely registered with them. He whispers to Jhaartael, "Is this a bad time? Perhaps I should just go and you can come see me tomorrow when everyone is more... lucid?"
(Sorry, I just re-read and realized I missed the part about Akyan's disguise. So, mentally retcon everything I said about "seven elves" to "Six Elves and a Human", which sounds like a sitcom.)
Mina whispers back to Nyblond and Jhaartael, "No, they are not inebriated, this is a ruse. They are trying to get these 4 half-orcs drunk in order to take their identities and gain passage into the tower. This is the current plan as we didn't know we were going to run into you, Nyblond. If you have a better one and we should abort, please let me know. Also, Jhaartael, do you have any way to put some of these brutes to sleep? Kyrsa's a bit worried how much this is going to cost us."
(Sorry, I just re-read and realized I missed the part about Akyan's disguise. So, mentally retcon everything I said about "seven elves" to "Six Elves and a Human", which sounds like a sitcom.)
((Technically, Jhaartael is also still disguised as a human - for similar and different reasons from Akyan))
Nyblond listens to Mina's explanation with evident relief. "I was thinking the standards of the... er, of our mutual friends must have slipped a bit since I was last with them. I have some information which may be helpful, however, I would urge you to avail yourselves of any opportunity for an advantage. The Tower is a very dangerous place for those who are unfamiliar with it."
He rummages around in the pockets of his robe, and produces a flask, which he hands to Mina. "This is a sleeping draught. I find them very handy in my... our line of work, I always carry one or two with me. A thimbleful in each drink will produce hours of deep slumber, that can only be roused by physical harm."

Ack! True! Did he disguise himself after he left the others? Then it would appear to the rest of you that two strangers just walked up. Ha! Well, we'll just forge ahead and pretend that it all worked out.
Mina's face brightens as Nyblond hands her the flask. A wicked smile appears on her face as she looks at him, "Well, you are full of fun surprises. Sure glad Jhaartael found you. Thank you."
She walks over to where Tamryn, Kyrsa and Akyan are conversing with the half-orc, slips the flask into Akyan's pocket. I just slipped a sleeping draught into your pocket. A thimbleful in each drink will produce hours of deep slumber. This should do the trick. You being a rogue and all.. figured you'd be a good bet to do it.Mina thinks to Akyan.
"Hey there! I hear drinks are being served? Why, this sea elf is thirsty, lead on!"

(Lol yeah I suppose we wouldn't have recognized Jhaartael, but Mina was also with them.)
"Well, that solves that problem. I should be able to do that easily enough." Akyan replies to Mina, "I'll let Kyrsa know."
Then he mentally tells Kyrsa, "Mina just gave me a sleeping draught. I'll slip it into their drinks then once they are out we can be on our way. This'll be a lot cleaner than killing them, won't have to hide any bodies. Plus it won't cause a scene in the bar."
Akyan looks at the sea elf with an irritated expression. "Well, looks like Tim's gonna be serving the whole neighborhood at this rate." He grabs Tamryn by the shoulder and starts pushing him towards the tavern. "Let's get moving before we get anymore freeloaders." He motions for Buknog, Kyrsa, and Mina to follow, then sees the three orcs around the corner. Glancing back at Buknog, he says, "Those three friends of yours? If they are tell them to hurry on in if they want anything... Or not. More for me if they don't....though if Tim here gets in trouble for not paying his tab then that's his problem I guess. Huh, might do him some good if he spends a few days in a cell. Maybe then he'd sober up." He continues to push Tamryn into the tavern.
Kyrsa sighs mentally, forcing a smile as she helps Akyan and Buknog guide Tamryn towards the tavern. Directing her thoughts to Akyan she says, "Good. That makes this easier. Just don't slip it in to soon. If we can afford the most potent drinks then perhaps you can slip it into their second helping. But if these four pass out after their first drink it might raise questions."
Upon seeing Kyrsa and Akyan grabbing him, Tamryn lights up. "Look! It's my friends!"
Pointing in the general direction of Kyrsa and Akyan, he says, "This is Freya and Ryan. But they are so grumpy, I call them the Grumpusesesesesesssssss. That's hard to say. I'm thirsty!"
Then he grabs Akyan's collar and uses it to pull himself up. Pointing at Lyndaryn, he says, "That is Malvyn. He has a secret." He then loudly whispers, "He is not the lost prince of Neverwinter!" He then giggles and nearly loses his footing.
When he sees Jhaartael, Mina, and Nymond, he waves to them and say, "There is Bob, Dob, and New Guy! New Guy is my favorite! I call him Fob."
"Everyone," he calls, pointing at Buknog, "this is my new friend,...er...Gob! He was just showing me to where for a drink to get much. Wow! I'm so thirsty."
