OoC: his plan was to blow the drivers' head off or at least knock him off the wagon, thus causing the wagon to lose it's counterweight and tip. It was going to be plan B. Since the bard threw their weight into play, plan B is no longer needed and the freakishly strong octogenarian cleric would rather save his few spell slots for healing spells, given all the desperate unarmed fighting that's likely about to occur. Besides, if he casts just as the wagon topples, the spell could go wide and miss.

The cart slams down onto it's side with the added impact, smashing the two guards with 13 Bludgeoning damage as their knocked prone and restrained!
The driver is flung from the cart, impacting the ground for 5 Bludgeoning damage from the impact!
Everyone inside the cart is knocked prone against the barred wall (now acting as the barred floor), as the cart scrapes and slides a few feet on the rock from the momentum!

OoC: I don't understand. I didn't roll damage. That roll was to hit. Damage roll was 14, so I guess not too much of a difference. Remember to check the game log, since that's where I make my rolls. Anyhoo... *ahem*
As the bolt leaves his fingers, Adelwald turns to the bard, beckoning them over. To Boomi, he yells "It's all yours, good sir! Take up your axe and give us an opening. Once free, I'll help hold them off while he..." (gesturing Senni) "...secures us a few extra weapons."
He turns back to the bard. "And you. Stay behind me as much as possible until we're freed -- I can take an arrow or two. Then gather as much food and water as you can find on them, before meeting back up with everyone else. Feel free to grab a knife or blade off the guards we pinned. One might even have an instrument in their pocket."

Perception check on the approximate location of the guard. First roll was a 1, but as a Halfling, I got a reroll: 10+3 (Wis mod)= 13
Also, before doing anything else, is Adelwald bleeding?
He's about 30 ft away, kneeling on the ground. Adelwald is sore, likely bruised, from the impact, but not bleeding or broken, as he made the dex save.
