(If it requires an ability check, the party should have ropes handy, to give Advantage in the crossing and/or prevent fall damage.)

Rodolfo can help with either Levitate or possibly Spider Climb as that lasts an hour. It would be best if we could fashion something else though as we may need to come back the same way. If I'm tracking this right in my head then it could be a dead end.
The pit is 5 feet long (jump distance), on an upward incline (requires an Athletics check) and the pit itself is not connected to any other openings that you can see.
If you use rope to jump the pit, no advantage, but you don't fall 30 feet into the pit. I will penalize 15 minutes per failure. Once the rope is across and anchored by someone strong enough, then no more rolls. Just 15 minutes to get everyone across.
The incline is not huge, so a DC 12 Athletics check would be enough.
Actually, the DC for all the other saves is 11, so DC 11 for the Athletics check.
If I'm tracking this right in my head then it could be a dead end.
Hopefully there will be a staircase going up. If there isn't, I'm not sure where else the party can go.

I guess we missed something somewhere else then.. so it warrants being super thorough in this one before we head back. But I'm definitely open for other options.

I'm uneasy about the time for a short rest, but again, I don't have any better suggestions. And Beegred needs the HP. If everyone is okay with a short rest, these are his hit dice rolls: 51310 He uses the first 2 hit dice, which gets him within 1 hp of full health.
