Rodolfo exclaims loudly, "I HAVE AN IDEA! What if we leave them up and come back here when the attack happens - that way the dust will be occupied here and the others can use the elementals! Lets leave these be for now!"
And he slowly backs away trying to see what the others would do.
“Hmm.. do ye be knowin it can’t leave a statue once it’s made it move? I suppose it’s worth a shot. Mayhap should test it afore the gnomes gets a bunch of the stone people..” Thurnir hesitates. He looks for a way to shut the statues into this area.
Thurnir and Orubis have no prior experience with this particular chamber, but Rodolfo, Beegred and Skameros do. They can easily recall that after defeating 6 of the petrified drow, another 6 became active. Yet when you entered this chamber just now, all the petrified drow were inanimate. Only after entering did the statues once again become possessed and begin to animate.

While the others figure out if it is better not to fight them, Beegred will attack. Moves west to G2, cast Hunter's Mark on F3, and attack (including 1st-round-only Dread Ambusher).
Attack1: 24 Damage: 13

Thurnir says “bah, I’m ready to be bashin some heads, evenif it’s pointless. Gots to work off all that gnomish ale”. He proceeds to attack the statue f3 as well, hoping to take it down, also casting hunter’s mark:
Beegred rushes at one of the animated drow statues (move to G2), confident in his party to survive the risk of being swarmed. He makes three impressively flourishing attacks that don't impress the statue at all, as each blow fails to make any lasting damage.
Orubis observes Ogremoch's Bane, the rows of petrified drow and Rodolfo's words. He remains unsure if he should proceed or not, remaining wary. (DODGE)
Two statues (@J7 & @K8) rush Thurnir, each making two slam attacks:
“Alright. I ain’t one to back down from a fight but not opposed. Seems like there’s a lot of em”. Thurnir says, he disengages and withdraws, backing out of the room.
Beegred endures 4 AoO from the statues, as he uses his Action to Dash. That extra movement allows him to reach M0 and exit to the north.
(Disengage would mean spending another round in the room, so that is more attacks than AoO.)

Ducking and weaving, Beegred manages to avoid every blow. Everyone manages to exit the chamber, and once again the petrified drow statues don't follow. (End of combat)
(As discussed in OOC, we will be fast-forwarding to the battle for Blingdenstone. Level up your characters to level 7)
Returning from the Rockblight with a plan to keep Ogremoch's Bane occupied during the upcoming battle, you all settle in for several days of rest and preparation. The hustle and bustle of the denizens of Blingdenstone preparing to fight for their lives and their city continues to drone on, until one day everything goes quiet.
Calls for an assembly is dispersed among the crowds and the leadership outline the plan for the feint and the attack on The Pudding King. Nomi Pathshutter has returned from Entremoch's Boon with the Stoneheart Enclave and two dozen of the biggest earth elementals any living gnome has ever seen. They are holding outside the main gates of Blingdenstone, wary of Ogremoch's Bane. When everyone is formed up and ready to proceed, they will enter and go directly to the front lines to begin the attack. Everyone is warned to be wary of the elementals, should they be turned.
The squad of young fighters are equipped to the best of Blingdenstone's ability given the supplies it had. The youngsters even sport some ancient looking weapons, gifted by the ghosts of the ancestors down in the crypts. Narstin and Grithik have also joined the strike team, lending their divine magics to the effort.
It is announced that your party will head into the Rockblight with the strike team, where you will split off and engage Ogremoch's Bane, keeping it busy and away from the elementals. Once engaged with Ogremoch's Bane, a runner will return to Inner Blingdenstone, and the elementals will enter and head straight to the front lines, where they will engage the sea of oozes. Once that front is fully engaged, a horn will be sounded, which will be repeated so it is heard all the way into the Rockblight where the strike team will hold position at the Steadfast Stone. When they hear the horn signal, the way to the north will be opened with an explosive blast and the strike team will rush the Pudding King following the east wall.
What happens after that is up to the gods.
Soon after, you find yourselves facing the massive doors leading into the Rockblight. The young strike team have a determined look on their faces, mixed with fear and panic. Narstin keeps talking to the team, keeping their fear from paralyzing them. Grithik seems to be having a conversation with himself. The city is oddly quiet as the bulk of the population now finds itself in Goldwhisker territory, getting in position.
“Argh yah, this is an odd place t be sure” thurnir grunts as he takes in the scene.
Rodolfo exclaims loudly, "I HAVE AN IDEA! What if we leave them up and come back here when the attack happens - that way the dust will be occupied here and the others can use the elementals! Lets leave these be for now!"

Would Orubis know if that seems possible based on our previous encounters?

Rodolfo shouts, "Leave them! It's our way to contribute later on! We can and will kill them all in a few days!"
He pulls fully out of the room and gives others room the back out as well
“Alright. I ain’t one to back down from a fight but not opposed. Seems like there’s a lot of em”. Thurnir says, he disengages and withdraws, backing out of the room.
Skameros looks at Beegred fighting and then looks at Rodolfo, then looks at Orubis and then back at Thurnir
"Fight? no fight? make up your mind....." and with a chuff will shamble back out of the chamber as well.
