Seeing Rurik examine the south, Stigr will head to the northern tunnel, his imp helping him take a look.
Perception: 14
How far do you go? The tunnel continues on northward for a good ways, but twists and turns, the path continuing onward with side tunnels that end after only a little ways. The main path though keeps going, mostly in a northerly direction.
Melady lets the others check the bodies, glancing north and south, then waiting to see which way the group decides to go. "Anything south?" She asks Rurik, while waiting for the report from the north passage to come back.
“Na, I don’t see squat. Just dust and darkness. Ugh. I need to bring Shadowlight back. It’s be me last spell at that level. I can hold tight til we rest if someone needs healing. Otherwise I wouldn’t mind spendin’ ten minutes to bring back me steed.” Rurik responds.
"Yea it seems most people leave by the south passage and the north is unused. If we want to see what group won the fight in this room then south is the direction you want. If we want to go to rooms not yet explored, then North is the direction you want to travel, personally I vote we go north." Maximus suggests.
Hearing the group's interest in the North, Stigr will remain with the group, but send his imp ahead scouting, heading out until it sees a room/fork/creature/anything besides more tunnel.

After a couple of hours of hiking Melady and the imp come up onto a small room with a single door built into the Northern wall.
The door looks out of place, but quite old. It has arcane runes carved into its surface and has the appearance of being attempted to be made to look impressive, but failing that in the end.
In the center of this room is a rusted iron hand pump and a deep stone basin. This pump draws water from a spring between levels of the dungeon. Using an action to crank the pump draws 1d4 + 1 gallons of potable water into the stone basin.

“Well, what we got here? Fancy a drink? Haha, did ya find anything else here or is this as far as the line goes? Wouldn’t mind some water though. Think this thing be trapped or think it’s safe?”
Trin follows along with the others until arriving in the chamber. Noticing the runes on the doorway, Trin attempts to decipher their meaning.

As you look at them, and see that they are meaningless, you recognize they are a badly-done attempt to make the door appear important and nothing more.
Maximus will help take a look at the bodies to see what has happened and then will try and determine where the winners of the fight went.

It looks dark in that direction, but it does in the other as well.
You can tell that martial weapons and magic were used here to slay the bugbears and brain puppy.
You also notice that most tracks lead down the southern passage, the north seeming a bit more dusty and disused.

"North is fine by me." Melady agrees with a shrug. "Aren't we suppose to be mapping the whole place after all?"

Rurik shrugs his shoulders. “If that’s the consensus, than let’s move out.”
Samantha continues North as well.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
"I'll scout agin with the imp..." Melady says, heading out in front of the group once again.

The room is currently empty when Melady and the Imp arrive. They wait here to let the others catch up.

He doesn't find anything lurking down there and soon comes to the water and can go no further.
