Before Donkee snatches that primo tiefling skull he says. " well, aren't you a sweet looking skull. What great horns you have..."
Perception 13
It looks like a dead skeleton...
(in your description, you said the words said speak to me..So Donkee is unkowingly speaking to the skeleton before snatching the head and putting it in his bag in case it had something to tell us)
Donkee will grab the skull, wipe off the dust with his arm and put it in Grunt's bag so they can continue

Donkee can read Infernal? Did not realize that... Best wait till someone else can read it, like the Imp, before you take the skull.
No, donkey cant read it. He accidentally talks to it, as it is part of his character to do...so ,maybe it accidentally triggers the skull..lol okay, I will wait for Secundus's Imp to read it first
[OOC: What are the walls of this chamber made of?]
Ellya sits down by the fall facing the tieflig skeleon and starts fiddling with something in her duffel, then pulls out a clockwork music box. After winding a gear at the bottom, she opens the box and lighthearted but slow tune emanates from it, a bit like a lullaby and a bit like a jig.

Donkee will say to the skeleton " Hows the hanging, what would you like to talk about before I take your awesome skull for posterity to view in the skullitarium?"

Still no affect with speaking to the skeleton... Let's hold off until others, maybe clerical in nature, can post...
"Anybody here have experience with grave diggin? How long ya think tha's been dead? Mebbe someone could read this? I donna have tha spell."
" looks like some kind of demonic writing..I bet Mache can read what it says, before I yank this skull for the skullitarium collection"
“Sorry that doesn’t look familiar at all. We’ll keep an eye out further down the way while someone else takes a peek at what is going on here.”
You don't spot anything new.

The walls are stone.
Donkee will say a little louder, " Hey, Secundus! Have your pal Mache read this here notice on the wall"
The imp reads the notice to Secundus, who then tells you what it says. "Talk to me..."

[OOC: When you say "stone", do you mean carefully worked stone, haphazardly placed stone, or natural rock that has been carved into?]
The halls you are in now are worked stone, smoothly carved halls and square rooms. It is all very well-done work.
Rurik walks over and tells Donkee, “Be a bit more respectful of the dead, ya never know how they may help or hinder us.”
Looking at the skeleton, “Ain’t that right there buddy?”
Still nothing from the skeleton.
Ellya starts running her hands across the walls, trying to search for irregularities.
