Looks like we have: (this is going back to page one. Don't know if all these people are still going to play)
Me: A wild sorcerer/divine wizard
Stryphe: A monk
Tenthmatrix0: Wizard, bard, cleric, or rogue
Lunarsand: Thief/fighter
Shavarathspawn: Evil rogue
You (Briseadh): Anything.
As of right now, It looks like we could use a barbarian/fighter/cleric/paladin/druid as a tank for a balanced party. But who cares about balanced parties hehe. Play whatever you want and we'll have fun anyways. Afterall TPK's are fun too.
I never saw from Tenthmatrix and Lunarsand post their stats, so I assumed they moved on to something else. But thank you for the composite list just in case I was mistaken!
yeah, I didn't know if they message you or something. That was just what I saw when I looked back. How many are you looking for for the total party size?
Working on it with Nilsoren now so should have something soon! ;) I can actually say I've played just about every class now that I actually had a tank in a campaign last year. She was also my first dwarf character. ::chuckles:: This year's campaign with the same DM is his homebrew so several of us are a combo of homebrew animal/primrodial type beings along with a dwarf, a construct and a bugbear. Humans are evil and oppressive to all other races. It's come a long way since our last play test of his world two years ago. I'm hoping to use some of his info and my own to test the homebrew side of things when that comes out in whichever phase they have it. I'm thinking the 3rd phase for that to be honest.

Sure! I can easily scale up some of the battles to be more appropriate for 5 people, and then way we have a bit of insurance in case one of the previous entrants has moved on while I'm been ever so slowly plodding things along. Post a character sheet for me when you get a chance.
Proficiency: Athletics, Survival, Persuasion, Intimidate Saving Throws: Wis, Cha
Tool Proficiency: Lute (favors fantasy version of metal ballads) Armor Proficiencies: All armor and Shields Weapon Proficiency: Simple weapons, marital weapons
Racial Abilities: Int +1; +2 Cha Darkvision 60' Resistance to fire Infernal Legacy: Know Thaumaturgy cantrip | 3rd Hellish Rebuke 1/day as 2nd spell | 5th Darkness 1/day Languages: Common, Infernal, Elvin
Paladin abilities: Divine sense (4/day) | Lay on Hands (5*level)
Story: Survived being a cult sacrifice by his parents to an evil god. The goodly adventurer that help thwart the ritual raised Du'Hast till he was 16 when the cult attacked again to retrieve their sacrifice. Du'Hast ran but not before seeing his adoptive parents get killed. From then on Du'Hast vowed vengeance on cult and went from village to village to learn how to fight and learn about the cult. One night when he was alone and frustrated in the woods screaming to the night to any god that would listen a ghostly armored figure appeared and granted him the powers of vengeance. Du'Hast asked very little questions and promised slay all that sacrifice others especially the cult that tried to sacrifice him.
Had discussions with Nilsoren about something cool and will have my character ready tomorrow some time. Might even be today as I am on a roll to being organized with everything I have to do today. Thankfully I have a lot of time in my day even with helping with an online gaming community that primarily does MMO's but there is a group of us that are doing D&D and some of them got into this beta. =) I learned of this beta from another community member who doesn't do D&D but he shares lots of info on different things knowing we aren't just about MMOs and not all of us even play the three main games running at this time.
Anyway, I'm going to make a cleric, but go with more of a battle style. I can be back up basher to the paladin if all hell breaks lose. Now to go see what I manage to roll and then see if some of the quirky idea I have can work out. Though this is reminding me of the heavy armor cleric I had 20 years ago that nearly got electrocuted trying to save a team member. I survived.....barely!

BTW, there was a suggestion on the first page of thread of using rolz.net, but the link gives me a blank page in chrome. Roll20 is free and we can just make a game in there and use it just to roll dice and leave notes, too. Though I have no issues with total honor system. The gaming community I have been part of online for over 7 years works that way with claiming what we really did with the family. If any of you are interested in a group that mostly does MMOs, but has smaller groups doing other things you can check out http://www.gaiscioch.com which is where I heard about this beta. Though our main focus atm is GW2, ESO and Rift with lots of online side games going on.
And we definitely need the story to flow here to entertain anyone that stops by!
Okay, had plenty of time this morning to work this up without interruption, since I'm really caught up on what I need to have ready for later today. =)
Now for my outrageous rolls but thanks to +2 dex, +1 wis for a wood elf could have some fun getting decent setup for her build.
Str 9 (-1), Dex 15 (+2), Con 10 (0), Int 8 (-1), Wis 17 (+3), Cha 15 (+2)
Proficiency: Insight, Persuasion, Perception, Deception, Sleight of Hand Saving Throws: Wis, Cha
Tool Proficiency - Disguise and Forgery tools Armor Proficiencies: All armor and Shields Weapon Proficiency: Simple weapons, longbow, longsword
Racial Abilities: +2 Dex, +1 Wis , Darkvision, Fleet of Foot (move 35), Mask of the Wild, advantage against charm, can't be magically put to sleep
Languages - Common and Elvish
Trickery Domain Ability - Can give one willing target other than myself advantage to stealth checks. Lasts for one hour. If recast before hour is up, the one hour counter starts fresh on target.
Equipment: set of fine clothes besides her traveling clothes, studded leather armor, mace, four daggers, disguise kit, forgery kit, holy symbol, explorer's pack, grappling hook, bag of caltrops(20), pouch with 15gp (items in bold are equip from background)
Money - start 150gp per rolling 15 with 5d4 and times 10. Spent 76gp on the above. Leaves 74gp to go with her pouch of 15.
Background:
Can't remember a dang thing past two years ago as far as who she is and what her purpose was supposed to be (DM Knows and will be working out when she might remember something). She has ways to keep people from asking too much or to at least give them enough story to keep them happy. Was found with a near tragic head wound from what appeared to be an orc raid. Most of her skills are from her past, but she can't rightly say why she knows what she knows. She is very independent, so once she was able, she went off to see what adventures life would bring.
Visual - 4'10, skinny wood elf with green eyes and dark blonde hair. She is always smiling, but can look quite vapid if you get talking about anything requiring a lot of intelligence and thinking other than the skills she knows.
Yeah, they gave the wrong link for rolz. https://rolz.org/join should be the right one. We could also use roll 20, but that might be a bit less streamlined? I'm happy to yield to whatever the party prefers.
Also, don't forget to roll your trinket Briseadh!
Interesting looking community, I never got to play as much ESO as I wanted to try. And never really properly played Guild Wars 2, but I did help adapt the entirety of Hamlet into a GW2 machinima ;)
It is an original setting! There's a brief description of it on the first page, but I'm happy to answer any more questions you may have. We're using the Greek Pantheon. No special rules other than sticking to core rulebook class race options, and having people roll on the trinket table.
Can we agree in this thread that we all know each other and that for the most part we have each others backs even if we haven't adventured long? Just trying to avoid internal angst/strife and make this a great experience for everyone. This is my first time trying play by post so please forgive me if I make some mistakes with this method of gaming.

Tiefling Paladin (Oath of Vengeance)
Experience player looking to try new groups and unusual character/class combo's.
Please let me know if this is possible.

Any chance we can get a updated roster just to make who is playing what?
