Queanys also looks around confused and then his eyes widen as he sees the giant up ahead. He pulls out his sword and urges Quazard forward towards the giant.

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
Fragum now notices the giant "Wait! Let me talk to it first!" Fragum then calls out to the giant in giant speech.
(Spoiler is translation from giant, for anyone who can speak it and the DM)
Greetings fellow giant! Will you let us calmly pass? My companions here are a bit trigger happy, but will not attack fully if you let us pass. I am sorry for my elven companions spell. Please, as I am of giantkin, harming you would be my last resort. Let us pass please, I'm sorry if my companion was rude.
As you see people running past you the other way you see a man and a woman sprawled on the ground the hill giant looks at you stupidly and laughs as he thrusts the two humans into a huge bag which you think might of killed them He replies in common
"Never seen so many humans! They make good snacks! Go away puny giant or I catch you and make you slave!"
On Queanys' turn, he charges 120 feet towards the giant (Quazard taking the Dash action) on Quazard's back and marks the creature as his target before striking out twice with his longsword aiming at the giant's soft belly.

Since i was able to cast Hex, i will assume that our wagon is 90 ft away. I will put on the breaks and misty step 30 ft closer, and while i walk another 30 ft, i will cast mind sliver and shout: „Try to hit it with a course or something.“
DC 16 Int save or 10 damage and a 1d4 debuf on the next save.
Ok, the battlefield looks like this I said 5 wagons ahead and that is 240ft The Giant is partially on the side of a cliff standing on a ledge ten foot below the road. Quark just made it to the map. Runvail your hex 30ft (I wont count it against your list. state your movement or action on the surprise round then its your turn) is out of range as well as Wyldfyre's 120ft ranged spell (You wouldn't of used it yet you may move 25ft due casting a spell then getting off the wagon)
You've lost the surprise and Quark has made his move
No problem, if i am 240 ft away, i will simply run (dash) 60 ft towards the giant on my surprise round and another 60 on my turn. I make sure i am behind other wagons, so he doesn‘t see me. (120ft now)
