Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster do not have access to any Feats that require the Spellcasting Feature, like Spell Sniper or War Caster. Both of these classes have the Spellcasting Feature listed at level 3.
My guess is that these feats are specifically coded to look for Spellcasting as a level 1, or a base class feature.
Agree...For Sorcerous Burst 2024, My expectation is that this is spell attack modifier for the ranged attack but another thread mentioned it is just "ranged attack"... even still, that would be Dex + Prof for the roll... I even tried to customize to add the to hit but it won't do it. #bugged?
I tried to make a homebrew copy of the 2024 War Caster feat and it does have Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster as prerequisites. I think the feat itself is bugged.
Homebrew spell not selectable with new (2024) character. Hi - I have master tier subscription, and have (successfully) created characters that combine the core 2024 content, and legacy content. Specific example - Sorcerer Core rules + Shadow Sorcery Subclass, plus Warlock Core Class. However, in "manage spells" I am unable to add a previously homebrewed spell, despite having updated the "allowed classes" for the spell to include the legacy Shadow Sorcerer class. Any thoughts on resolution? As FYI - the homebrew spell is basically "Nathair's Mischief" rebranded to be "Shadowfell themed" instead of "Feywild themed.
However, in the Character Creation Process, I created a Human Criminal Rogue, and I am not prompted to select a trinket as described in the PHB. If this is RAW, can the trinket please be added to the Character Creator?
I created a Tiefling warlock at 5th level. The spell section on the character sheet was a mess. Subclass (archfey) extra spells and race spells were all listed under the spell level while all selected spells were showing under the highest spell slot level, additionally the sub class and racial spells were showing as at will which would be nice. My guess is this is on the account that there were no spell slots for 1st / 2nd level, so was getting treated like cantrips?
It happens even if you get those spell slots. It's just not upleveling the subclass spells at this point in time. I've done this same thing when making homebrew stuff and thankfully it's just a configuration change, not a code change. Hope that means they get it out faster then. I've already seen some other stuff getting fixed during the day so they're making progress.
First off thanks for all the hard work!!! Love it!! But... there are some bugs Updating/recreating my: Sorcerer - Dragon Sorcery subclass -
1) Draconic Spells not showing up on prepared spell list. 2) unable to pick spell themed feats (specifically Spell Sniper & Elemental Adept, at later levels, they are simply not listed in the drop down menu for the 2024 feats and only have the legacy versions (2014)
3) Common Sign is not showing up as a possible language to choose
I bought the 2024 Core rulebook bundle, and among the perks were supposed to be 15 sets of dice. I got the 12 class sets (though I can't figure out which are which in some cases) and the golden set today. That means I am short two sets. Am I correct in assuming that I will get the other 2 when the MM and DMG release?
Posting this AGAIN 24 hours after my previous post...
I have a Master Tier subscription and purchased 2024 PHB. I cannot access this and it's treating me like I never purchased it (despite it saying "In Library") when I browse my purchases.
Is anyone else having this issue? And, is there any word or update as to when or even if this is going to be fixed soon???

It seems to limit people from sourcing it from early access users as well :( I've never played and was getting ready to create my first character but only have access to these few classes. Hoping I can source it after the 17th

Per the 2024 PHB, Starting Equipment for all characters should include a trinket: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/phb-2024/creating-a-character#ChooseStartingEquipment

loving what I see so far
If you mean in the 2024 books, they aren't a part of the class. Legacy will only see legacy for that
(I was replying to someone, it didn't quote the post i was replying to, apologies everyone confused by my random comment)
