Is there a way to replace Clockwork Magic spells known with other spells? I can only seem to replace my picked spells as I level
For reference:
Clockwork Magic
1st-level Clockwork Soul feature
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Clockwork Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an abjuration or a transmutation spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.

Aberrant Mind - Psionic Spells. We don't currently have a method to allow swapping these spells out. We are looking at solutions for this. "Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a divination or an enchantment spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list."
Clockwork Soul - Clockwork Spell. See Psionic Spells above.
In the meantime, while this feature is being worked on, a character sheet workaround would be to create a homebrew subclass using the Clockwork Soul as a template, and swapping out the Clockwork Spells for the appropriate spells of your choice.
The aberrant mind spell swap issue is the same as the Divine Soul spell swap issue. That issue has been unresolved for 4.5 YEARS, so I wouldn't expect progress anytime soon.
Not sure if it's been recently addressed yet or not, but I saw that the subclass features from Tasha's that allowed you to cast a spell a number of times per day based off your proficiency bonus was fixed. However, the Circle of Stars Druid - Star Map is still bugged. As you can see below in the portion that are boxed red, the number of uses listed for Guiding Bolt doesn't match the proficiency bonus as described.
This is discussed in the very first post of this thread. When they correct/update this functionality, that post will be updated.

But that's the thing, in the first two posts of this thread, they addressed the PB uses that's part of a lot of the Tasha's subclasses. Claiming that all of them have been fixed, but it appears this may be the only one that isn't, unless it is taking into consideration the druid level rather than the overall level when calculating the PB.
Pretty sure devs have just given up on updating Tasha's features
I've been working on documentation on features that don't quite work correctly, or we weren't able to implement with the current tools and we're going to make a big push to get all of this done.
As always, please don't ask for a timeframe, as I am unable to give one, but please know that we haven't forgotten, but also didn't want to just write some spaghetti code to patch in single issues at the time, and then make it harder for the future.
No shade to you specifically, but the fact is I paid full price for something that isn't fully implemented and hasn't even been updated for 8 months now. I was never even told that it wasn't finished. That's not cool. So forgive me if I'm skeptical because considering no timeframe could mean next month or 2024, it's starting to sound more like never.
You got like 85-90% of what you paid for. So what are you whining about?
Next time you go to the gas pump, leave 10-15% behind...
The books are all there digitally, not one word missing from them. What more than that would one get from the hard covers?
You are trading portability for storage space. Digital character sheets are a value added thing, even if not 100% implemented.
That's a little simplistic, given that you have the option to purchase things a la carte, such as the Aberrant Mind Sorcerer subclass. If I pay specifically for this subclass with the understanding that I will be able to use it on my digital character sheets on the same site, is it unreasonable to be disappointed when one of the main features of the subclass simply doesn't function, and there is no mention before purchase, and no reasonable expectation for it being fixed? Sure, it's only a few bucks, but a caveat before purchase that all features may not function at this time seems more than reasonable at this point.
For Aberrant Mind - Psionic Spells & Clockwork Soul - Clockwork Spell
Might be a fix that has either been suggested or shot down because someone doesn't trust their players but for the spells you can swap can we just have a dropdown box with the spells in it like with the Magic initiate feat? I'm about to start playing one an never knew this was an issue.
Too many people are willing to yell but not suggest solutions. You guys are doing a great job and thank you for this site
Suggesting solutions isn't the customer's job. it's the product owner's job to solution the problem.
Voice of the Customer says what they want, what is wrong with what they have. Business' job is to produce a solution that meets the customers demands.
They have plenty of functionality that COULD be used to rectify this issue. Implement them like artificer infusions that default to the selected spells and then have a dropdown option to change within the available schools.

That only works for the 1st level spells.
And remember that the identical issue has been present in the divine soul for literally 2 years
TBH if they don't fix things in the next few months I might email them asking for a refund. I understand that things take time, but you shouldn't sell an unfinished product.
It's blatantly obvious at this point that the dndbeyond team is either unwilling or unable to address the issue of sorcerer spell selection. I suspect it's the former as they're prioritizing new content and general improvements to the site.
I think it's safe to say after this release that buyers should take caution when pre-ordering future content, as there's no guarantee that their character builder will work with all published material.
It looks like the spell slots for multiclass Artificers are using the level rounded UP, not DOWN like the multiclass rules call for in the PHB (https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/phb/customization-options#Spellcasting). My test character is Artificer 5 / Wizard 2, which I would expect to have spell slots as overall caster level 4 ( (5/2) + 2) if rounded down properly, but it's actually giving the character spell slots for overall caster level 5 ( 4/3/2): https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/MasaoKun/characters/61233787 . If I remove the artificer levels and replace them with the same number of half caster levels (paladin or ranger), it does calculate the spell slots as expected (4/3).
EDIT: Nevermind! It looks like the Artificer is an oddity with regards to multiclassing! Per Tasha's Cauldron of Everything's rules regarding "MULTICLASSING AND THE ARTIFICER": "Add half your levels (rounded up) in the artificer class to the appropriate levels from other classes to determine your available spell slots." I considered just removing my post, but I thought I would leave it to help anyone else who might have this question and searches the forums!
Hi so its been a long time since I saw this post but are you all still working on the side kicks? I haven't found the option to make them so maybe I am missing something.

You can add sidekicks to a character in the "Extras" tab, but it's not ideal. You're still prolly going to want to work up a simple character sheet for the sidekick to actually play from.
Was about to post this exact same bug. Glad I searched first. (And really excited to start playing my Tortle Stars Druid!)

Holy ******* shit lmfao
i thiought it was 6 months, there are other people who've produced character builders with this functionality in like 6 weeks

Not my job to tell them what works best though.

What am I supposed to do with a signature?

Using Tasha's Custom Lineage feature, I can't seem to be able to select homebrew feats. Is this intentional?
UPDATE: PILOT ERROR. Please ignore.
Have you enabled Homebrew Content in your HOME | Preferences? The toggle should be red/to the right.
Helpful rewriter of Japanese->English translation and delver into software codebases (she/e/they)
And the answer is ... pilot error!
I had renamed the feat I was looking for, and my other homebrew feats weren't offered because the character in question already had them.
yeah your right this is pretty bad. Who ever designed this should of just made their own special type of character sheet.
