Currently running a family game and trying to keep things simple for everyone. So being able to tap to roll a skill check or attack roll is very helpful.
One player is playing a Druid and I fully expect that they'll want to spend a lot of time as an animal. Trouble is, I'm finding it very difficult to manage a wild shape through DND Beyond.
I've added the form to Extras, and yes you can click into it there to easily manage HP. And yes, the stats are adjusted there. However, there's no good option to roll from there. If I ask for a Skill Check, they have to roll a manual D20 and add their bonus. Doable? Sure. But it's not as simple as just clicking to roll the Skill Check in their Character Sheet and having it auto tally the results.
Same for Attack and Damage rolls... Again, doable with the manual dice, but still fundamentally the same issue.
Similarly, clicking into any other info tab takes your wild shape info out of view. Yes, you can lock the side pane, but it still will swap to other info. Tap a spell name instead of the dice roller and suddenly the description replaces wild shape, and wild shape is multiple taps to get back to.
As an attempt to simplify this, I was planning on making magic items that they can just enable/disable to adjust their character sheet, but that's going to be a ton of work to set up for each and every possible shape. And even then wouldn't really fully adjust everything since some things just can't be done there.
What do you all do to make this easier?
