Currently brainstorming ideas to help my players warm up before playing the adventures. Current ideas I have are
Question days: Everyone brings a question then we all spend time answering the question how our character would. For example the "How would your character react to seeing a cat stuck in a tree?"
Acting Workshop: We explore character voices and find ways to learn more about how the character would walk, talk, and react in different situations.
My goal for these pre-session workshops is to help new players loosen up a bit and not be afraid to explore themselves and their characters. They are all interested in a roleplaying focused adventure. Mainly ways to engage players before starting the session and like acting, they can "get in the headspace" of the adventure. For context darker ideas are fine too since I will be running a Gothic Horror campaign based on the ideas shown in VRgtR.
