I did the same thing, I felt like the dragon slayer sword was too good an item to be just sitting there relatively easy to find (well, I guess there is the invisible stalker to deal with, that is no joke). Still, wanted to add to it.
I made it into a pretty huge dungeon with different areas, etc. There are switches they have to activate to proceed, for some they will have to jump over lava, others they have to avoid rolling boulder traps, swim under water where they will be trapped under ice, or jump from floating platform to floating platform over what would be a high fall. I am not a huge fan of the collapsing corridor trap listed in the module because it could easily be a TPK if the group is all close together.
Anyway. Hopefully this gives you some ideas. I decided to be brief but if you want more detail on any of the traps I mentioned let me know.
I cut the collapsing corridor trap completely out since no one in the party is really able to fit through it anyway.
Doing it as a three level tomb with "are you worthy" boss battle at end to claim the dragon slayer (now) Great Sword.
Most of the traps are just nuisances, and beefed up some areas with some other creatures from Fiend Folio and Kobold Press books. 6 Lv5 party members they kinda wreck a lot of what's written...
