I am running A storm king Thunder inspired campaign , and the players im running it for just arrived at water deep. But i Have no clue where they are supposed to find the locations that correspond with the quests given in Chapter 2. Is there a map out there that shows where to go specifically for this adventure?
I ran Waterdeep Dragon Heist and used the map extensively. The thing is, I just made up the locations for everything important; I didn't realize how wrong I was until I took a good look at the map. But hey, now Trollskull Alley is in the South Ward! No biggie.
My point being, as long as you follow the general idea of the city (and your players aren't incredibly nitpicky about a fantasy setting) then you can place important things wherever you'd like them to be. It's your game, after all.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
Storm King's Thunder can spread on a very big part of the Sword Coast map, thus making it impossible to include detailed information on all locations, even those as big as Waterdeep. I had similar issues with other areas (Luskan, Mirabar etc.) as I wanted to add more colour and depth to the campaign. There are two things you can do: 1. Use other books, such as Dragon Heist, Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide or any other that could have information or maps of the desired location
2. If you do not have the other books and do not wish to buy them, or if they do not include the information you want, do an online research. You can find lots of information and maps (official or not) for free or for a very low price.
I did a little bit of both and ended up with enough to bring these locations to life, despite the lack of information in the capaign.
In any case, you could also improvise. It is your campaign and maybe Waterdeep is a bit different than we thought...

I don't know for certain if this can help for SKT, but dragon heist has a map of Waterdeep and a full chapter dedicated to everyday life in Waterdeep.

Waterdeep Dragon Heist has a good map and description of Waterdeep and it's various wards.
If you cant buy that, then just create what you imagined from reading wikis and other such.
Here's a compilation of basic (all canon) 5e Waterdeep info:
Open lord: Laeral Silverhand, chosen of Mystra god of magic
Important guilds: Xanathar guild, Zhentarim, Harpers, Lords alliance
Wards: Sea ward, North ward, Castle ward, Trade ward, Southern ward, Dock ward
PS. SKT is known for being a mess when they essentially say "Go anywhere in the world, DM create it all based of a 5 sentence summary."
You dont have to stick to factual lore if you dont want to.
BoringBard's long and tedious posts somehow manage to enrapture audiences. How? Because he used Charm Person, the #1 bard spell!
He/him pronouns. Call me Bard. PROUD NERD!
