So my level 10 party is entering their second to last dungeon. It's a large ancient forge that hasn't been open for hundreds of years. Recently my BBG opened it and repurposed it into a construct factory. What I'm struggling with is treasure rewards they could find throughout the dungeon. I mean golds great and all but they have a good amount of it at this point.
The party is made up of a rogue, a cleric, a fighter, and a sorcerer.
A sentient magic hammer crafted by the original foreman, who is super upset at the prevision of his original masters work. Some sort of tie into the Cleric's god, and can be used as a spell focus with +2 or something... could be pretty cool for the cleric.
Fighter ... well not to hard to explain some Gauntlets of Ogre power in the forge, seems that be useful to the original owners who work a giant magic forge.
Rouge ... the clerical offices of the forge need to communicate with their logistics and supply routes... bla bla.. Boots of speed
Of course it greatly depends on the char concept your players have and matching that. But, whatever items they want you can put in thematically and as this is the last time to really power up before the final dungeon (where loot is too late to make a diff in the camp), now is the time to give them the cool stuff they want to make their char concepts complete.
Make the dungeon into the treasure and let it be their base. They can even use it to make a few constructs to act as servants. Near the end of a campaign is a great time to introduce one, you won’t be playing long enough to get bogged down in base management, and it gives the characters a place to retire to. Maybe start a new town with the base at its center.
There are lots of options but I like to make items that fit with the location. That's really more a matter of aesthetic as any item or boon can be changed to look like it belongs
for example
A historical artifact that is either valuable to sell or can be used to gain favor with a given faction. Like an ornate dwarven shield with a family crest
Information that allows for learning a new spell or recipe in the form of an old book, scroll or mural. For example heat metal is not normally on the cleric list but is a spell from the forge domain so maybe they find a prayer book that allows the cleric to invoke that power and prepare the spell.
A pet for example a homonuculus per the spell Create Homunculus they could find an unfinished one that just needs a drop of blood or something to link it to some one
Items used in the construction of the constructs for example a magic hammer that casts one of the following spells mending, searing smite, heat metal that was used in forging
A magical pattern used on the constructs that could be used as a magical tattoo. Any attunement magic item could be a tattoo instead.
Construct parts. For example the hand of an unfinished construct that acts as a wand that casts a spell or any of the prosthetic body part items. It can really be any held or prosthetic item
I personally just come up with a bunch of ideas and then select some at random before making them fit into the location. It's often hard to know what players will like and I don't expect them to find every item. You can also ask players to come up with items to go in the random pool

Hey y'all,

Any help is appreciated!

Sorcerers just want one thing and its disgusting, (Blood Viel https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/2412091-bloodwell-vial) , maybe it belong to a sorcerer that use to keep the magic fires burning for the forge.
Fighter ... well not to hard to explain some Gauntlets of Ogre power in the forge, seems that be useful to the original owners who work a giant magic forge.
