Just some random campaign ideas, if you find them cool, feel free to expand. Use them if you please, if you want to, put some of your campaign ideas here too. If you put them here people might use them, don't be mad.
1. An evil Kenku wizard, who used to be human, but was cursed and hates it. Now they try to take over the world. Bonus: If the PCs defeat him they figure out that the wizard was just trying to get revenge on the world that cursed them. Then the PCs can defeat the real evil which was the cult that cursed the wizard.
2.A world that is being eaten by dark corruption. It started just south west of the land, and is working its way up. A brave dragon tried to stop it, but instead got corrupted. Now they roam the corruption killing anything. In the corruption you have to make a Con save DC 7. (Don’t want the PCs to die) There might be an item that protects the PCs or purifies anything it touches, IDK.
3. A message sent from the future, said to be “The Prophecy” It just says that legendary adventurers will save the world from (Insert character name here) the ice king/queen from freezing the world over.
1. A sorceress who can divine things with 100% accuracy. Everything that is, except the player's movements for some reason. She becomes obsessed with toying with the players, as that's the first time in forever she has felt any sense of joy or excitement for things to come.
2. A group of adventurers are hired to kill a camp of monsters. However, said monsters turn out to simply be refugees from a far off land. They don't speak common and thus can't explain what's actually going on to the players. Also, one of them is the spouse/child/grandchild of a powerful individual from their species. The party now not only has to deal with the guilt of having slaughtered a bunch of innocents, they also have to deal with the wrath of said individual, while also trying to figure out who tricked them and why.
3. A group of adventurers is hounded by a group of people that want them dead for some reason. They have to figure out who they are, and what they want. The twist? The enemy group are actually older version of the players themselves. They went back in time to stop themselves from unknowingly unleashing a deadly calamity (for example, go into a dungeon and releasing the ancient evil trapped inside of there/accidentally waking up the ancient dragon who's been hibernating for several centuries, or something among those lines). However, the spell was faulty, and they lost part of their memories. They don't remember who they were and what the players will do, only that they need to stop them at all cost.
4. The ultimate escort mission. The players are travelling around with their children/younger sibling/best friend, who's prophesied to bring about the end of the world. The party has to protect the NPC from those wishing to subvert the prophecy, while also stopping the NPC from becoming the very thing people fear they will turn into.
A death tyrant is at war with a demilich for control of a region. The party must pick which of the incredibly powerful undead overlords they think they'll be able defeat themselves and ally with them temporarily to break the stalemate and defeat the other.

Having fun? I would hope so. Lets see how much fun you're having after the lich starts dipping into it's 1/day spell slots.

A coven of hags terrorizing a small village to take all their magic items and spell’s from them.

“And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out! Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thou foe, who being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.'"

I can't imagine the yield from a small village would be particularly great.
For me sounds this sounds like the village is of no particular interest, but the location is. Like Gaberielstickslapper said, maybe there's something under the village.
Or, maybe this is just a hook for a larger adventure. Maybe the village is just the first of many and it's all because there's a new archfey in the region causing discrepancy in the local feys.

Starts with a young lady, the fairest in all the land, and yes the fairest, persuasion (charm) off the charts. A daughter of a broken (no money), duke. But not the real daughter. He took her in when a deranged disheveled lady showed up and left the baby at his gates. He plans to sell her basically to the highest bidder as a bride price or dowry. Of course the neighboring arch rival Duke (not a good man) places and wins the bid and promises are made to him.
The night before the winning Duke, comes to pick up his new bride, the girl goes missing. Of course the father goes into a panic. One, he loses out getting a lot of coin, and then he know the rival Duke will be furious and think it was done on purpose and may start a war of some kind.
Girl is missing, and a posting of help wanted and introduce the party. Of course the arch rival Duke will send his own gang to try and find the girl as well. He is thinking find the girl and will not have to pay, and puts his nemesis out of business of sorts. This will create a meeting of the two groups creating drama. Maybe the first encounter is just a meeting not a fight. To create the drama of hurry to find her. Of course this group will come across not so nice.
Anyway, the girl was actually helped by the house help, the maiden who raised her from a baby did not want her to be with the bad Duke. The maiden has a sister who lives up the creek about a days travel.
The party gets hired to find the girl. But later that day the maiden comes to them tells them her secret gives her story of how she is a wonderful girl, how she practically raised her and did not want to see her with that horrible man and did not want her to stay here to be sold off like property. She will give an example of how evil he is. And also says how her boss the Duke is not so nice either. So the party heads off down the creek. they pick up her tracks follow follow them.......
This girl is special a prophecy of long ago told of one such girl who will basically make the land whole again (King Arthur) lead to country to peace. So there are some who do not want her to succeed and see this prophecy come true.
You can go anywhere from here you want or have a vision for. I chose that she was taken by a creature, a skilled medusa mage, who was trying to remove her curse of turning everyone to stone and be the prettiest in the land where she would be worshipped and admired by all who looked upon her. As the party rescues the girl from medusa, she has been cursed from the failed procedure to steal her beauty. This curse was when she approaches a town, and gets close, a percentage of the population just dies, no kids nor pregnant women dies.
This started other adventures or small modules within the campaign. Like the first town after they entered, of course the people are in a panic because so many died just abruptly. The town of course blamed a hag from the swamp and would like the party to go remove. At this point the party believes the towns people, they have no idea the girl is cursed and she is such a charming beautiful young lady they would never imagine.
Then you also got the evil duke group looking for the child. I had them kill the maiden's sister and her husband and 2 children. Left their mark too. So if party finds it they will understand who did it. when they run into them.
So there is a lot going on I wrote too much already, my apologies.

maybe there's something under the village, a dungeon full of treasures and magical relics that the townsfolk aren't even aware of!
