Hey all. In a campaign I'm running, the adventurers are traveling via Battle Balloon to a remote place. I want to have someone aboard sabotaging the ship. I want to create a little set of social encounters and uncovering evidence that leads them to an uncover agent. Anyone have a set of encounters or an adventure that I can mimic? Thanks!
Why would someone on a balloon sabotage it? Wouldn’t they be just as dead if they succeed and the thing falls?
Possibly they don't want to destroy it, just sabotage it so that the heroes have to land it sooner and not finish their journey. Or so it goes off course and the heroes can't make it to their destination, being forced to go somewhere else.

L2 Assassin's Knot will give a good outline to follow on not preventing or not finding the culprit, not ship based per se.
Might check to see if any of the Spelljammer modules were about sabotage.
