Are you referring to the section in the back of the cave that could potentially lead elsewhere? If so, I caused it to be caved in so it didn't lead anywhere. Probably best that was the case since the black pudding killed a character (nat 20 against a level 3 by those is not a fun time).
The party I was Dm'ing for did this dungeon last week. I made the back room into a Peryton lair, it would try fly in occasionally, attack the helpless prisoners and the goblins would end up trying to shoo it off, Hark would offer to release the prisoners if the party killed it instead of the Black Pudding. Of course the party ignored it, killed all the goblins, wandered into the Black Pudding room and two characters got 1 shot. The Black Pudding encounter is VERY tough, especially if the main damage dealers use slashing weapons.
