I"m running a hybrid of POTA for a group of friends and I have a player who's a Wizard and loves the idea of his character (level 6 wizrd with magic initiate feat) having lots of spells to choose from based on a situation. (why he didn't go with a druid or cleric in that case is beyond me), but I need some help or suggestions about loot to give so he can get a bunch of spells at once ( either from a spellbook or a box of scrolls) so he can finally shut up about it and start to build his character's spellbook,
I mean yeah, the cool thing about a wizard is that you get to learn spells that you find along the way. I hope he realizes that he can't prepare them all at the same time. Anyway, it's easy enough to drop loot for him. A scroll here, the body of a dead wizard there, or maybe just lots of bookshelves that can be investigated. A wandering NPC could have some spells to purchase, a friendly NPC mentor could teach him some stuff, or just add some spells as part of the normal quest rewards. The hard part is really making sure the other party members don't feel under rewarded if he's getting extra loot.

Dear all,
I"m running a hybrid of POTA for a group of friends and I have a player who's a Wizard and loves the idea of his character (level 6 wizrd with magic initiate feat) having lots of spells to choose from based on a situation. (why he didn't go with a druid or cleric in that case is beyond me), but I need some help or suggestions about loot to give so he can get a bunch of spells at once ( either from a spellbook or a box of scrolls) so he can finally shut up about it and start to build his character's spellbook,
many thanks in advance,
Shatvan
