I am running Curse of Strahd for friends & coworkers that are all gamers. They liked the idea of blending aspects of Castlevania into the setting. I’ve been able to reflavor most of the iconic villains of Castlevania as NPCs except 2 of them. I’d love any opinions of changing ones I’ve reflavored or for the Mummy and Medusa. Those were trickier for me because of how those stat blocks don’t really blend with CoS NPCs.
Honestly, a Medusa and a Mummy are already statted creatures in 5e... it would be easy to just slot them into almost any situations, either by replacing one of the less interesting monsters or using it as an excuse to add a new location to the map. I think it'd be nice to have a sort of "secret dungeon" somewhere that the players might find with a Mummy Lord at the bottom with some kind of particularly nice weapon hidden with him.

I like the idea of doing a secret dungeon. I appreciate it.
