Hey all, relatively new member here, I signed up for the beta but only really glanced around when there was an update, and I have a conundrum. With many of my players leaving and new members joining, I want to make a dungeon that promotes team-work and social interaction and one of the things I want to do was some tests of sort and I need some ideas for tests that I can use that are class specific, i.e. a test for monks or a test for bards. I want to use this as the introduction for each character as a replacement for the whole "You all meet in a tavern" experience and make it feel a bit more natural.
Maybe, the characters are gathered together for the last will and testament of a mutual relative, friend or advisor. They must all work together in the deceased' mansion to reveal a message or quest the old man/woman left for them.
A combination of doors or items can only be opened by one of the characters. The bard must play a favorite tune of the deceased, the cleric must say a prayer or blessing, the fighter is the only one strong enough to move an object out of the way to reveal a concealed door, the wizard must alter the structure of an item using a cantrip like prestidigitation. Something along those lines?
If you're interested in puzzles for future games, however, be sure to check out my YouTube channel. :)
