I'm running a homebrew campaign where the humanoid civilizations had been forced centuries ago into a large capital because of a monstrous uprising. The new kingdom has a Efreeti as it's king (the citizens don't know the king is a Efreeti) named Abaceon. Abaceon has prohibited the use of magic in the kingdom, (the reason is still being determined), and I want there to be a cult of fire that knows what the king is and wants to help him. Question is, what would you find in the cult hideout of a fire cult. I know fire elementals, but what else?
A large crystal orb of water that imprisons an enemy water elemental. Beneath it is a burner and the cultists threaten to raise the heat and evaporate it if the elemental doesn't behave.
A boitata or a hidden ashwinder.
Frost flame- a rare magical fire that does cold damage and can freeze anything held in it for long. I don't know why it would be there, but it is flame related and could be an interesting addition.
A stable full of komodo rhinos and the players might come into a room where a bunch of the cultists are playing pai-sho.
Some more monster ideas are a magmins, azer, steam, magma, and smoke mephits, and fire elemental myrmidons. You could also have them come across a nest that is filled with hot ashes. If they dig inside the ashes, they find an egg which will hatch into a phoenix. (Use the eagle statistics but give it fire immunity and a hurl flame ability.)

They have it because they’re doing research into cold You know, keep your enemies closer. That’s what I’d go with. Maybe even a whole lab of cold related stuff.
An apocalypse cloak. It is the cloak that a Fezzik wore in Princess Bride. It would give them, immunity to fire damage, it could be lit on fire without harming the wearer, and it would give advantage on intimidation checks when lit.
Flamesstride boots- boots that give you immunity to fire damage and allow you to teleport from one open flame to another. Maybe they even leave a temporary wall of flame in their footsteps.
Fire proof candles
An amulet that can cast flaming sphere once per day. It looks like a locket that opens up to release a sentient fireball that hovers around and is under the wearer's control. The fireball (probably named sparky) can telepathically talk to anyone wearing the locket and should have an awesome personality.
A cloak that allows you to transform into a fire elemental for 1 minute once per day.
A broken magic item that allows you to teleport to the elemental plane of fire if fixed.
These were just the first ideas that popped in my head, I hope they were helpful.
In terms of magical items, I think you may want to consider items that would help the cult. Something that gives immunity to fire probably won't be super helpful to beings made of fire.

If in doubt, just use homebrew.
But a cult of fire is made up of mostly humanoids who idolize beings of flame and so they want to become like them as much as possible and so a item that grants them immunity to fire would be highly prized.
Unless I misunderstood something and the cult is made up of fire elementals. I assumed that it was humanoids using the cultist statblock and so they would need fire immunity in order to fully commune with the elementals they strive to become.

Azer and salamanders, but normal cultists and maybe someone who has infitrated the cult. Someone maybe the players can learn to trust on the inside.

These are cool ideas, what are some magic items one would find on a Fire Cult? My players are level 6 if that's important.
Flame tongue sword jumps to mind.
Brazier of commanding fire elementals
Maybe some potions of fire breath

You are correct, the cult is vastly made up of humanoids without immunity to fire
