I'm currently one of the DMs running the Waterdeep Dragon's Heist campaign at my game store and so far it's going pretty good! The party just got the tavern and decided to turn it into the most successful tavern they can (Which is what I was hoping for). And on top of that, our flamboyant elven cleric of Sune is opening his own salon in the den of the manor, which I never expected.
But now they're out of money and are all for joining factions and taking up several missions since they're all poor and the tavern's not ready to open yet. Only, as I'm looking at the faction missions for the book it only provides a mission for each character level. That's why I want to try and have some other missions ready in case they want more faction jobs.
Does anyone have some ideas for other missions? Preferably for the Grey Hands and/or the Harpers? Any advice would be appreciated!
Our dm got seceral waterdeep supplements including one in which we had ro kill spectres and a wraith. Got 1000gp for the quest. Will admit it was quite hard for the level. I almost became a spectre myself. Check out dm guild store (another webiste) ti purchase lots of waterdeep side adventures.
We played 2nd level for almost 12 hours with faction missions. Milestone . Loads of fun
If your characters are only going into the Harpers and Grey Hands, try stealing some faction quests from the other factions and adding a twist. Instead of delivering the poison for the Zhents, have your players thwart the drop-off or try to see what exactly those Zhents are delivering. Have the players investigate the mysterious epidemic of Nobles losing their pocket squares.
Look into some of the story of a different villain in chapter 4 (the event chains) and see if there are any interesting scenarios that you can use real quick. For example, if you don’t have Manshoon, see if you can do the scene from the theatre(winter) as a quest.

That's perfect, thanks!
Where do I go to start the faction missions?
