Hello, I got a buch of player that decide to take the C-shaped adamandite Venindo war machin Triboar and the fire giant) and they want to melt it to make some weapon and armor.
I like when player have some initiative, I got a idea but I want to know your opinion.
I said that they can ( with all the pain in the a** that will take to transporte a 11 feet of 1000 pound of adamanite ) to take the adamanite C-Shaped to Gauntlgrym and ask to use the primodial forge of the dwarven forteress.
So something revelant would be that the King bruenor could help the heroes for their quest against the giant and make an armor in adamanite or weapon ( I didn't found any adamanite weapon yet) and keep all the rest for the dwarf fee and use.
What do you think, any more idea. Is it to much ? or not enough. I just want some DM opinion.
I wouldn't make it easy for the players to transport 11 feet of 1000 pounds of adamanite. Perhaps some random encounters while they attempt to do so and of course they are going to have to pay for the recourses to actually move it. But if they manage to do all that, then sure why not.
Of course it is lol meaby it s gonna trigger the event in the city. Just need to check if it's with the timing of the storyline or happen before and it will be a chain of event
I'll have to double check the DM Guide, but I don't believe so. Also technically I don't believe there is any benefit to adamantine weapons within 5e. Though I could be wrong.
I haven't fully read the adventure, but my assumption would be that this is something the PCs simply cannot accomplish without significant amount of time and investment on their part. It is possible that if the PCs have access to a wagon, and that wagon is capable of reaching the location, then they may only have to make one trip there and back again, plus loading times.(I'm assuming 1,000 total pounds for all of it.)

With some ambush by Fire Giant seeking with their rods, raiders and bandits and one or 2 tarrasque ;)
Adamantine Armor, DMG 150. Any metal armor. Critical hits against the wearer become normal hits.
Adamantine weapons are as stated effective against the dreaded Iron Golem, and should (imo) also be immune to any rusting/damaging effect like many oozes have.

Kurazo
That is a great idea, although it could take a lot of time and Duke Zalto will be very angry.
Be careful about the happenings in Guantylgrim. The titan is involved.

Do we have any adamatine weapon?
The adamantine weapons are effective on Iron Golem.
How much time do you guy think it will take for a armor or weapon in admanite?

I am one with the Force. The Force is with me.
Nice I know but the crafting time is more what I'm looking for.
