is there any section of this site where I can post plot lines etc of a current campaign to get help and suggestions on encounter builds and stuff?
still relatively new to DM'ing and just hope I can find some where to help me iron out plot lines and encounters before I run them,
Currently I just feel that my current campaign might seem a little convenient that the places the PCs are going are mostly connected, and wonder if this would come off contrived and lackluster when the reveal comes around, or whether I'm just worrying too much
Long story short: Vecna and Baphomet are co-villians in my plot, each with their own goal but due to Vecna's use of a soul engine, accidentally interrupts Baphomet's requirement for one of the PC's souls and they battle out behind the scenes, and the player characters at the moment are stumbling into plots that are currently seemingly unconnected, the three major locations being Star Mountain, Rassalantar and Mirabar (Homebrewed different to any particular place)
Each sector has multiple plots going on at once, the question: is it worth making some of the plots not actually connected to the 2 organisations to make the world feel bigger, or am I just worrying too much?
There is the encounter builder but you need to subscribe for that and it costs quite a bit of money. But besides that there is nothing, hopefully there will be in the future.
