Hi folks, first time Doing in a home-brew session, it's a setting which is based on dark retellings of fairy tales. (ie, Billy Gruff is a troll hunter, Jill murdered jack and realised she had a taste for human flesh)
The antagonist of the game are going to be Goldilocks and the Three Bears, who is going to be a bounty hunter hired to take out the party. I was wondering, are there any race/class builds that would suit this idea? Ideally one humanoid and three bearlike monsters that would pose a threat to the party.
I see Goldilocks as a Beastmaster ranger, and the "Bears" as her pets... But I feel like rather than being literal bears, they should be some kind of nasty beasts she just calls "Baby Bear" and etc.

WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.

Well, according to the story the bears appear to be more intelligent than just mere beasts, so they could possibly be werebears. In the retelling, Goldilocks could have bested the bears, rather than being scared off/eaten, and now has them as her tortured pets, making them wear silver collars and subjecting them to other equally awful stuff. This could have broken them, leading them to become mindless beasts. Perhaps you could also do a little bit of silent storytelling by making one of the bears missing. What happened to it? Who knows?

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
This is all really useful, thanks! I really like the idea of her having kidnapped/tortured the monsters and made them fight for her. Thanks a lot for your help folks!

What level are the party?
There might be appropriate monster stats in the Monster Manual.
I‘m envisioning a den of werebears.
