I would like to create a trait for a homebrew race that essentially acts like barkskin: their AC can never be below 16 (but shields and other effects don't add on top of it). It would be great if this reflected in the character sheet, so that if a character's AC was 14, it would still show as 16 in the character sheet. Is this possible with the homebrew system?
Set - Minimum Base Armor works well. It sets your base AC to the setting if your armor would produce less. Though it still allows shields and rings to add on top of it (unlike Barkskin rules). After consideration, I think this is actually a better mechanic for my case anyways; so this works perfect. Thanks!

Yes.
Modifier > Set. Unarmed Armor Class. Fixed Value > 6.
Modifier > Set. Ac Max Dex Unarmored Modifier. Fixed Value > 0.
This is the modifier you actually should use: Set - Minimum Base Armor, fixed value: 16
