I was looking around for campaigns to run and I am super excited to try this one in the future! I was wondering if you have released your Goldfish Archipelago questbook yet? I am very excited to see what you come up with and hope you're having a great day!
I still have some real life players in Goldfish Archipelago campaign so I dont wish to publish it yet. The good thing is that Goldfish Archipelago is almost finished product already.
Really nice to hear that you liked the campaign JunkZ!
If you want to continue the campaign after Clam Island there is sequel available! (Goldfish Archipelago)
I would like to hear more about your adventures in Clam Island. What kind of characters? Which main quest was chosen? Did everything go by the book or did you something that went out of rails?
I saw this campaign out somewhere else and I decided to run this with a few new players! I edited some parts and added some side quests for Silverpearl and made my own maps and it has been extremely fun! I can tell that you put a ton of effort into this so thank you so much!
Currently running this campaign for my sons. They are loving it so far. Thank you.
They chose to go after the CCC. One is a Human Fighter, one is a dragonborn sorcerer, and one is a Half Orc fighter. My boys want to fight with roleplay as a side and this campaign is great for that. Found some statblocks for dinosaurs online and threw them in too to pad out the basic statblocks in the material. We have had fun.
Hello Terhonator ! Thank you very much for sharing this campaign !!!
While some are introducing the new generation to DnD I've introduced my parents to this universe while on holiday back home 😁! I'm using Clam island with them as newbie players and me newbie DM. They chose the premade wizard and two weapon fighter. I changed the introduction a bit, I didn't outright explain both plotlines but I presented the island as full of opportunities and a good starting point for their adventurer career. I introduced them to roleplay by having them explore the city, the tavern, talk to patrons and ask basic questions like what's going on in this island, where can money be earned, etc... They went to both the barracks and the mercenary guild to have a rundown on the two jobs and in the end they chose the Defenders of justice's main quest.
I've only just finished our first session after the crab encounter on the beach to Whitestrand for the first step of main quest but they seem to quite like this !
If you have any tips for a newbie DM on your compaign they are very much welcomed !
(Sorry if there are some mistakes, English is not my first language, I'm French)
Hi Terhonator, I noticed you like replies to your content so here to let you know..
Currently 9 sessions deep in a sort of modified version of Clam Island! We are having a lot of fun, it's my first time Dming so I liked the nice outline to work with.
We did things slightly different rather then the tutorial, I set up an encounter with one eye the pirate on the ship from the mainland in the 1st session where the players took out some of his henchman but he destroyed the guards and robbed the player characters of there starting gold while telling them he was impressed with there combat skills and invited them to find him once they make the island but didn't tell them where, while leaving the option open to help him (and the mercenaries) ((I made a semi-alliance between the pirates and the mercs)) or to get revenge on one-eye for being robbed.
We have a Human Cleric, A Halfling Monk and a Half-Orc fighter, so far they've cleared a few of the dungeons you recommend and also I stole from the starter campaign and had them clear a dungeon from the lost mine of phandelvar as a job from the mercenaries to help get some gold.
My group loves RP and combat so while chasing down One-Eye who always seems to be one step ahead, they've stopped a zombie invasion by a Goblin Shaman in Whitestrand and are currently working on curing a plague-like problem in Blackhollow that is afflicting them and causing them to be forced into quarantine by the rest of the island. (it's a puzzle heavy challenge that really is making them think and will reward them ready for there fight with One eye)
One eye has become a semi-mythical warrior in our game and has absolutely destroyed them at every turn (Not due to me over tuning him but more due to godly rolls) which just adds to the fun we're all having. I think in the end the party are going to have a massive fight with One eye that will reveal One Eye has been working with the Clam Island branch of the Mercenaries and taking a cut of all the jobs via a scheme - while his pirate crew have "employed" the cursed club clan to cause the citizens of the island to fund the protection from/removal of the clan, he's skimming a profit by causing the problem and "providing" the solution.
Like I said we are nine sessions deep currently so the it's very deep narrative wise, after this I'm going to give the players the option of sailing onto the Archipelago or going back to the mainland and delving into the Tundra.
Hi Tylar1 and thanks for your comment! As you can see very basic setup with simple quest line is enough to start with and it can be modified to any direction players want to. I am happy that people use the content I have created.

Hi BraulioTheBuilder! Few questions:
- What kind of quests you added?
- Can you share the maps you created?
- What kind of characters players created?
- Which main quest they chose?
I am happy that you played the Clam Island!

Hi Riften_.
I really like the way how you let characters to explore the town and factions before choosing main quest line.

Hey there! This campaign looks really nice. I'm new to DnD and I was wondering if I could join the campaign and how? Thanks!
