I made a rogue subclass focused on one-one fighting. A part of what I wanted it to do was to make it a viable defender build, while also allowing it to function as a striker. Any help with wording and/or balance would be greatly appreciated.
You hone your skills as a one-on-one combatant, spending many hours gaining an intimate understanding of the art of dueling. This isn't just understanding the complex strikes and dodges necessary for this combat art, but also learning the rigid code of honor needed to properly wield it. While many rogues focus on trickery and deception in order to gain an advantage, you instead demand a fair fight, using your phenomenal skill to dominate opponents. While many nobles use this archetype to prove their perceived superiority to others, many independent mercenaries and knights are part of it as well.
Glorious Challenge
Starting at 3rd level, you become a skilled duelist. Whenever you sneak attack, you can remove the bonus sneak attack damage to force the target of your sneak attack to make a charisma saving throw. On a failure, the creature has disadvantage on weapon attacks and offensive spells targeting anyone other than you until the start of your next turn. This effect ends if you damage another creature, or if a creature friendly to you damages the creature. The DC for this ability is equal to 8+ Charisma Modifier+Your Proficiency Bonus.
Elegant Riposte
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you become a master of the Riposte technique. When a creature within your reach makes a weapon attack against you, you can use a reaction to make an opportunity attack on the creature. You no longer need advantage to Sneak Attack, so long as you are making an opportunity attack and don't have disadvantage on the attack.
Finer Qualities
Starting at 9th level, you become a conosseiur of the finer things in life, and your skillset changes to match. You can add half your proficiency bonus, rounded down, to any ability check you make that doesn't already include your proficiency bonus. Additionally, you gain proficiency in charisma saving throws.
Distinguished Form
By 13th level, your great skill in combat allows you to lock down any creatures within your reach. Creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they move 5 feet or more while within your reach, and if you hit a creature with an opportunity attack they cannot make reactions until the start of your next turn.
Grandmaster
When you reach 17th level, you reach the skill level of a Grandmaster duelist, among one of the most skilled warriors in all the realm. Once per round, if a creature within your reach targets a creature other than you for a weapon attack or damaging spell, you can make an opportunity attack against them. This opportunity attack doesn't require the use of a reaction.
FYI this is a glass-cannon rogue. All the features push you towards staying in melee with enemies and using your reaction offensively rather than to survive. Sure you can pump out huge damage for the first couple rounds but you're dead meat as your d8 hit die fails to stand up to the enemies focus-firing you down.

Should I add some durability to the subclass? If so, where should I add it?

If I changed the level 9 feature to something like this, would it make it better?
Combat Medic
Starting at 9th level, you become a skilled medic and defender, allowing you to dominate your foes and protect your allies. You gain proficiency in shields and medicine, as you need to protect and restore your allies. Additionally, you gain proficiency in heavy armor, and you can ignore the strength requirements of it. Lastly, you gain proficiency in constitution saving throws.

I think the class is great and most subclasses I create are total damage based that don't really card about anything bit damage

Maybe not I don't know I like the original one better but for the sake of balancing maybe the other one I don't know I'd keep the original
