I am having difficulty fully understanding the magic item creator.
What i am attempting to do is create a +1 longsword that uses the wielders spell casting modifier for damage & attack rolls. so far i have managed mostly everything aside from the weapon attack and damage rolls. it is forever bound to strength. is there something i am missing that lets me fix this, or am i doomed to an "but actually" in the description text?
any help would be appreciated and just to be even more of a nagging bother, i would also be happy for any tutorial/list of commands/reference guide i can receive. googling isnt helping me much.
"Doomed to a 'but actually' in the description text."
Basically there isn't a homebrew modifier for features never used in official content, because the homebrew tools we use are the same ones DDB uses to input those options.
The homebrew is planned to get a revamp (going to gut and rebuild the tools), these options may get added then.
Thank you for your reply, it puts me at ease to know that the creation is simply limited by the tools provided and not just my idiot brain. could be both though.
