I'm mostly a GM & aside from maybe the occasional filtered monster/spell list search I don't personally use dndbeyond for much. A sizable chunk of my players however use dndbeyond though. That use presents a problem with the fact that after finding giffyglyph's darker dungeons 5e mods/optional rules (sub)systems I want to begin using a significant chunk of them.
I'm guessing that by the fact roll20 has a version of the sheet but dndbeyond does not is because it would be difficult or impossible to do here. Obviously systems like active defense & saving attacks that are almost table side manipulations are no big deal, but iI'm worried that there is a line of "not so much" that is going to be quickly crossed for things like things like ammunition/potion dice, hunger thirst & fatigue, weapon notches, slot based inventory, & more.
How possible is it for my players to use the darker dungeon's mods with my player's dndbeyond characters?
It's frustrating to get not one single reply from anyone (the dndbeyond user community, I'm looking at you...). I submitted a feature request in hopes of something, but I figured a thread in the dndbeyond homebrew forum would yield at least some guidance from the users here that I could point my players to. Given the trouble my dndbeyond using players had with tracking hero points (freaking 5e DMG 264), the silence is making me question if I should just ban dndbeyond at my table.
