Dao Peacekeeper, Efreeti Peacekeeper, Djinni Peacekeeper, Marid Peacekeeper. What do you think? Feedback is appreciated so that I can make better homebrew content in the future. I tried to link to the items in this post but was unable to do so. you can find these halberds in the homebrew magic items section
Okay I was able to find them :) I think that the feature of turning resistances into immunities isn't really necessary, but it's not something horribly broken. I will say that the Djinni Peacekeeper is a bit broken by giving the player the ability to use Misty Step like a Cantrip. I'm not sure what I would recommend replacing it with... thematically I see that each halberd offers the ability to cast one high level spell once per day, then provides Cantrips to use at will. The Marid Peacekeeper is a little off as well since it gives the 3rd level Water Breathing to be used at will, but Water Breathing already lasts 24 hours and doesn't require concentration, so being able to cast it multiple times in a day isn't functionally much different from being able to cast it once.
I was concerned that I was getting a little over the top with the misty step ability. Maybe featherfall would be better? although it does make sense for the secondary spellcasting ability to be a cantrip.
As for the waterbreathing, when you put it that way i agree it seems off. Maybe instead it could just give the user the ability to breathe underwater while attuned.
I think that makes more sense... it keeps things simpler to just give a boon to the player instead of giving them a spell to keep track of. Featherfall sounds useful as well, but I think it should include the limitation that you can only cast it on yourself.
While editing the Djinni peacekeeper I saw the gust cantrip. While it is a big downgrade from misty step I feel it fits much better with the theme of the weapons. Doa=mold earth. Madrid=shape water. Djinni=gust
I have also been debating on wether or not to change the Efreeti peacekeeper to fit with the other three. I do like it being different because I feel like an evil fire being would be more focused on their fire burning everything if it can
I do like the theming of the weapons and it is a bit odd that the Efreeti Peacekeeper isn't really in line with the others. I think it would make sense restructure it to be more like the rest, and maybe just create a different magic item the Efreeti could use to get a similar effect to what you have now.
